How to match the GPU order in speed stats and the one in temperature stats?  I know the "-di" option, but how to distinct the right GPU order to put there? Any algorithm step by step?

And... MSI Afterburner handles this itself somehow...

After much testing if you have any Tahiti based cards like 7950/7970/280x , you should just mine SIA directly. You will make almost double over ETH.

Pitcairn or Hawaii based cards like 270x,370,290 and the results aren't as good.

However it uses about 25% more power to mine SIA than ETH.

i used the following in batch:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x9102b6329a0bb966816ee0b05223047c1f7da69c.Rig1 -epsw x
-dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=3fb8c83410e0bab242231eef57ef700e0d9c4d350f14619e0f1ba860d6ff5460f35fdc639b1b
-dcoin sia
pause

but it did not show "-dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=3fb8c83410e0bab242231eef57ef700e0d9c4d350f14619e0f1ba860d6ff5460f35fdc639b1b
-dcoin sia" when starting
it did not showing anything about sia till i add "POOL: http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980, WALLET: 3fb8c83410e0bab242231eef57ef700e0d9c4d350f14619e0f1ba860d6ff5460f35fdc639b1b" in the dpools.txt

but still showing error:
DCR: http error#022
DCR: Check username and passwordm and/or pool state.
DCR: Failed to connect to pool <sia-eu1.nanopool,org:9980>, retry in 10 sec

anyhelp pls?
use quotes for dpool params
--dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=3fb8c83410e0bab242231eef57ef700e0d9c4d350f14619e0f1ba860d6ff5460f35fdc639b1b"
thx worked i sued "enter" before the -dcoin sia that why was not working..
but i saw 18percent less in eth which worth the production of Sia so i back to eth only mode.

Thx for the tip. I can confirm double speed solo mining SIA (switched to GoMiner for the 280x)

Slightly off topic from claymore, but how I run gominer on linux without the -q command and connect to nano pool?  I used the /miner/header syntax and I'm getting work, but I don't see the miner on the site.  Maybe I the &  before worker is being escaped... Need quotes.  I'm away for the next couple of hrs.

Can I mine Sia only? I figure if it takes a 280x from 300mh to 700mh, Overall Sia only (mode?) will be slightly more profitable.

you can increase SIA intensity (+ button) and maybe decrease -ethi parameter (look OP)
or try go - miner (nanopool.org HELP)

Which driver to use with RX480 !!!??? Anybody use this card??

On Linux only AMDGPU-PRO  ver. 16.30 ubuntu 16.04
Windows 7-10 driver version 16.20.1035.1001-160705a-304296E  known as Crimson-16.7.1

In Windows7 with  mem clock 2250MHz core clock def.(1290)  I have 28MH/s  per RX 480

as i calculated from reviews i can get 300Mh/s for sia on 380 so 3*380 can get 900Mh/s which is about 1200 sia/day (about 82cent/day)
anyone can confirm please?
sorry for double post, but I couldn't quote it in upper post..

I am mining since yesterday morning, so I assume mining time 36hours
and now I have over 2600 + 1800 SIA = so 4400 Sia. dividing this by 36hours and multiplying *24 it gives me:
2933Sia/ a day

I hope that nanopool show it correct and this balance  = payment (when it exceeds 5000sia)
My avg speed about 600Mhs

I am looking for signature campaign Wink pm me

Hello

First of all, love the miner, thank you.

I have 3 rigs, 2 running no issues (2 x 390x one rig, and 290x and rx480 second rig)

Both hashing good eth, and sia ( I could not get Dec to work so gave up)

My main rig ( 2 x 2x295 cards) keeps crashing. First I thought it was the power draw, so I ran one card, same thing.

Thats about where it always crashes.....any help would be appreciated

I have ran through the troubleshooting. I have over 16g virtual availiable, running 15.12 driver, no overclocking on these cards.
Since this rig is half my hashing power, it would be nice to have it on your miner as well.

Thanks

Edit: My programming skills are limited, so please if you explain, keep it simple Smiley

It crashes at DAG creation. Usually due to overclocking or weak PSU. Also try "-gser 2" option if you have several cards like in your log.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Is there a way to color code the different pools in Linux?  I know they have abbreviations but in windows it does.

as i calculated from reviews i can get 300Mh/s for sia on 380 so 3*380 can get 900Mh/s which is about 1200 sia/day (about 82cent/day)
anyone can confirm please?
sorry for double post, but I couldn't quote it in upper post..

Thank you very much i tested that with 683Mhs sia but i found my eth mining reduced from 56Mhs to 46Mhs so i prefered back to eth only mining

Someone please help! When I try to mine with RX480, the miner crashes. A have 3 card - 2x270X and 1xRX480. If i try to mine with only 270X, there is no problem, but if I try to mine with all 3 or just with the polaris - the miner crashes. I post last rows from log file:

01:40:59:271   d20   Total cards: 3
01:40:59:287   d20   Initializing...

01:40:59:303   d20   GPU #0 recognized as Radeon RX 480
01:40:59:303   d20   GPU #1 recognized as Radeon 270/270X
01:40:59:318   d20   GPU #2 recognized as Radeon 270/270X
01:40:59:318   d20   POOL/SOLO version
01:40:59:318   d20   b167
01:40:59:350   d20   start building OpenCL program...

I don't know what happened, I was mining with RX480 for 1 day, but then I try some intensity changes and after all I cannot mine with RX480 anymore...

Claymore, please help. I reinstall Windows and no change, still can't mine. ;(

If it fails on "start building OpenCL program" - something is wrong with OpenCL, i.e. with drivers.

Make sure your pool info is correct for Sia and it's in the right format.  Post your config or command line for more help.
