Anyone knows whats up with dwarfpool eu? Ru seems to work, so do the other pools...

All ETH rigs rented for big amount, whats happening?

Theory #1: They're rented to rig the voting against the hardfork.  Plenty of threads on reddit about this.

Theory #2: They're being used to mine EXP not ETH because EXP has been on a big rise the past few days.

Theory 2, lol I have been mining EXP for months... the reward is down 60% from just a month ago, everyone is mining it and it a good substitute for eth when using Claymore.

Well... That wasn't directed at you (or I)

"Whattomine.com" and various multipools don't catch on until the coin is jumping up in price a bunch. At times this week EXP was the most profitable coin to mine based on the calculators. Or people see the price increase on polo and decide to check it out.

A lot of those people are just catching on now. They weren't mining a month ago. (I started EXP mining about a month ago myself.)

Other people still won't catch on for a few more days when some of the blogs write news articles about EXP increase Wink

Can you please add Stratum Support for SIA at https://sia.suprnova.cc

I have 99.6% efficiency there with stratum and about the same speed with the Windows miner by wolf which is much better

Hey there, i got problem maybe someone have solution as i think i tried everything i could think of and no effect.
So, i got 3 gpu's 2x390 nitro and 1x290. No matter which card i put in x16 slot i cannot undervolt it, as it crashes, the two other cards seem not affected.
I use h81 mb, powered risers and platimax 1500W PSU. Hashrate on pcie x16 slot fluctuates and works only on stock settings. In other slots i can undervolt -100. Tried newest ati drivers, tried 15.12 aswell
GPU's aint overheating, i got stable 75C with 39%fans, using win 10, mining eth/sia also everything over 30dcri lowers hashrate of eth

Nice from far but far from nice

Have you tried swiching to PCIe x16 Gen 1.0 speed in MoBo BIOS?
Or more likely: Do you have Aero enabled or disabled?

The problem is every pool started to implement own Stratum protocol for Siacoin, it's not a good idea. Now I check them in details...

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Have you tried different OS to make sure this is software issue, not MoBo slot malfunction?

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us2.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F.YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool "http://siamining.com:9980/miner/header?address=YourSiaAddress&worker=YourWorkerName" -dcoin sia

Replace underlined texts with your wallet addresses and worker name.

i have seen this one but i still dont understand what to remove and what to leave , i dont think its like this. Please if you have time to fix my bat. file , i find it complcated. Thank you!

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us2.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal D69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F.rig1 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://siamining.com:9980/miner/header?address=1d4e33f77fbd1dfObDF77bd547fbe12b5bdOfaf355bccb403e4d1faacc73448cOc28ec3ea2eb1.rig1= -dcoin sia

@Martinski
copy/paste that to Your bat file:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us2.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal D69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F.rig1 -epsw x -dpool "http://siamining.com:9980/miner/header?address=1d4e33f77fbd1dfObDF77bd547fbe12b5bdOfaf355bccb403e4d1faacc73448cOc28ec3ea2eb1&worker=rig1" -dcoin sia

Ok I see some request for how to mine siacoin on suprnova.cc so here you go.

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal <username>.<minername> -esm 2 -epsw <password> -dpool stratum+tcp://sia.suprnova.cc:2786 -dwal <username>.<minername> -dpsw <password> -dcoin sia -dcri 30 -allpools 1 -ethi 16,2

Only problem it may not work with this miner as the worker was not seen.  The command is happy but no shares.  It maybe a propitiatory right now to the SGMiner he recommends.

yep, its not working. Have you try with nanopool ? and can you give me command line for whatever pool its working. Thank you!

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal <name>.miner1 -esm 2 -epsw <password> -dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=<address>&worker=miner1&email=email@here.com" -dcoin sia -dcri 30 -allpools 1 -ethi 16,2

16,2 are my intensity for my 2 different cards.. default is 16 but if you are using one card for your personal pc use than 2 is a good number.

Message me or contact me in IRC if you need any help, my implementation is quite similar to DCR implementation.
Actually there is no other stratum implementation for Sia currently.

1/ No stratum support for siacoin currently. Use http pool address and the corresponding port : -dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=YOUR_SIA_WALLET&worker=YOUR_WORKER&email=YOUR_EMAIL"
2/ This is even documented on nanopool ! http://sia.nanopool.org/help#claymore
3/ There's no need to run the eth proxy (your miner isn't even connecting to it)
