Hi claymore and all,

My rig has 7 gpu.

I'm using biostar TB250-btc motherboard with 1050 Supersonic PSU.
Running 7 1070 Windforce OC 8GB gpu.

My rig can run from 1 to 2 days.

However, upon facing error, i have set -r 1 to trigger a reboot.bat to rs it.

This is where to problem occurs.

When my system restart and the claymore miners starts, it couldn't detect my gpu and starts prompting the error below:

No NVIDIA CUDA GPUs detected.
No AMD OPENCL or NVIDIA CUDA GPUs found, exit

The error just kept repeating itself.

The miner doesn't restart and this error doesn't trigger my -r 1 reboot.bat as well.

How do i solve it: i will have to manually restart my rig and sometimes i will have to do it 2 - 3 times till it detects again.

Any idea how to fix this problem or anyway to allow the system to restart upon facing not being able to detect GPUs?

Please help me out guys.

Thank you!

Reinstall GPU drivers

May i know what's the best driver to use?

I'm using 372.54 NVIDIA driver which is recommended by Claymore himself.
but still having problems now and then for unable to detect gpu after system rebooting.

I always use latest drivers. My rigs never crash, dont slowdown and I get same or better hashrate than previous versions (yes, I always install the latest).
Im currently using etherminer with my Nvidia cards but I never had a single problem with Claymore (any versions) dual or not.

i have 5 x RX580 Nitro + Cards (Hynix)

I ahve updated to beta driver and Claymore 9.8 like others i cant control voltages in claymore nor latest AfterBurner but i can in trixx. Im actually settings clocks in voltages and fans in trixx and im running stable at 30 Mhs dual mining eth and SIA using around 100w per card in GPUz

I have same cards and TRIXX does not work. Are yours 8GB as well?

When TRIXX opens I do not have values on anything. All clocks are zeros. Any changes I do have 0 effect

Try with Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16

AB 4.4.0 Beta 16 either crashes my rig or messes things up... I'd rather have stable rigs with a bit of fluctuations in the voltages than have an unstable rig. But that's just me  Grin

I had to reset each card and manually add the old OC values for it to work in beta 16.  Also make sure you delete any old claymore OC or Fan command lines in your start.bat.

now here is some information i collected. i dont know that suprnova is a reputable place so would be willing to mine elsewhere but am ok with giving it a try. i have this inbformation below. also when i log into suprnova i found an API key? not sure what that is and if i need it or not.

ccminer Stratum enabled Port: stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 NEW VERSION MINERS ONLY !
Nicehash-enabled Stratum Port: stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2255

Yes my cards are 8gb, sorry if this is a daft question but are you double clicking into the values for GPU/CPU clock, typing the values and then clicking the apply button at the bottom?

I second that. 90 mins trying to troubleshoot but claymore just crashes. Maybe an update from claymore is needed regarding that.

Hey!
I'm having a situation with my rig, the specs are as follow:

Windows 10
850W Gold Modular
4x RX580 8 GB Nitro+
Motherboard Gigabyte H110-D3A

Everything works smooth, except when adding the 5th RX580 8GB Pulse, after a few seconds the computer just crash.
Can anyone help me debugging this?
Where can I see why the computer is crashing, what is causing

Thanks

I have 4x RX570 and 1x RX580 running ethOS with Claymore.
Pulling from the wall around 1000watts.
Pretty sure that your power supply is not enough for 5 RX580

last time I used Claymore (9.8 over Windows 10 64bit) with my Nvidia cards, I was using version 384.94 since the day it was released and I had no issue. Those cards are still running that version but with etherminer but thanks to you, I will upgrade today Smiley.

I dont plan to go back to Claymore with those cards for now but Ill run a 60 minutes test and report back.

Hi all!
After testing all day Im found one solution for undervolting with new beta driver which one works:) Maybe its a little bit primitive but working for sure for those who has rx5xx series cards. First I share my hardware. I have 7 pieces Sapphire rx580 Nitro+ 8gb limited edition in one rig. Here are what Im do:

- I have moded bios that one that Cirpian V. share with us in his blog.
- First Im remove the old one driver from the system with DDU in safe mode.
- Than I put the new one beta driver http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-[Suspicious link removed]pute-Release-Notes.aspx
- Than Im install the new beta 4.4.0. 16 AB.

As many people than I have problem with undervolting. All my cards consume much more energie than before (1030-1080 mv / card with settings cc1200 mc2225) and I have also problem with heating. After all that Im do next:

- Im open WattMan in AMD's software than I click on Gaming / Global Settings / Global WattMan and chose the first card. Than Im going to change to MANUAL on voltage control and than APPLY in right top corner of the screen. Than again change it to AUTOMATIC and than apply. To do that is really Important. Than you can check in AB the voltage low down to 830-840mv. You have to do this with every single card. Also important to do this all when claymore was runing!
The only problem with this that if you shut down claymore ,or you restart your rig WattMat forget all setting and you have to repeat all theese setup. Try it, it WORK's.

If you have any questions with my setting do not hesitate to ask. If you try it and it's work than buy me a beer Smiley))))
