For those of you like me who had XSH earnings appearing on nlpool while only mining for XVG. Yesterday I switched back to antminepool when I saw they had added a new server, (yeah still not very good). This morning I checked on nlpool just to see if they had things going again and guess what... XSH earnings from overnight. The most recent was from a block mined three hours earlier and I haven't had any of my rigs pointed there in over 12 hours. Can't decide if I feel better or worse about it.

To avoid most of questions:

NLpool restored from backup this night. This means that we placed a full backup back of 24 hours ago, and your earnings are not visible anymore on the website.

However, the old server is still running and will finish it's payments, so no money is lost.

The pool is running stable again..... Finally.

So what about my XVG that suddenly disappeared? it's not on the pool wallet and not on my XVG desktop wallet...

And please create a thread only for your pool related problems, etc...

Well if it makes you feel any better about it, nlpool is back to misbehaving again. Its by far the best when it's working. But is routinely dropping to 0 MHS and disconnecting miners.

Anyone successfully mining SHIELD (blake2s algo) coin?
I tried a few times but unable to set it up? not sure if the it claymore exe or something else is going on.

Did you mine other Blake2S successfully? If not, then the setting is not right.

yes xvg on nlpool and antminepool.com works perfectly fine. It can't find anything wrong with the settings.

Hi blake2s dual miner's,

Claymore new blake2s dual mining offers new opportunities of mining. It seems like all the community get interested to this algorithm. All pools were immediately cannibalized by this hashrate.

Blake2s coins are often hosted on little and often new pool. Pool operators are working hard to avoid disconnections, to support increasing hashrate and miners,…

Lots of work, fixes, patches, coffees, nightmares, new servers, coffees again… Unimining jumped from 1000 miners to 35000 miners in few days only on the blake2s! That’s amazing!

Thanks to all (remaining) miners mining on UniMining. Thanks for your confidence. We do our best every day to ensure the best quality of services, investigating and acting on every bottleneck! Some fixes should still be implemented.

We apologize if you get bad earnings and we are still working on it. If you have the solution or any suggestions… or stop blaming us on all post;

Have a nice day.
We can't stop blaming you, everyone needs to know the truth !
Compared to some other pools you are stealing arround 50% of the income ( if it's server issues or whatever else it's just your problem, but as long other pools can credit 100%, it's just stealing ).
You can ask for a higher fee, set pool user limit, etc, don't just let ppl think they will earn X ammount of coins based on their hashpower and you pay like 50%.
With all the mising coins in like 1 week, and with the hashpower from blake2s-unimining, you could earn like thousands of $$, please play fair.

Thanks.

Doesn't matter which pool i try, i get this.

Example

 B2S: Stratum - connecting to 'pool.bilbotel.fr' <54.36.252.117> port 5766
  B2S: Stratum - Connected (pool.bilbotel.fr:5766)
  B2S: Authorization failed : (null)
Socket was closed remotely (by pool)
B2S: Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

Getting this error while running version 10.6 and can't figure out how to stop it:

03:36:40:155   1200   GPU 0 temp = 69, old fan speed = 50, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:171   1200   GPU 1 temp = 68, old fan speed = 49, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:186   1200   GPU 2 temp = 68, old fan speed = 55, new fan speed = 40

03:36:40:233   1200   GPU 3 temp = 72, old fan speed = 69, new fan speed = 58

03:36:40:249   1200   GPU 4 temp = 74, old fan speed = 63, new fan speed = 53

03:36:40:280   1200   GPU 5: got incorrect temperature 511, ignore
03:36:40:280   1200   GPU 6: got incorrect temperature 511, ignore

It shuts the miner down.  I am running 7 Sapphire rx 480 8g cards with Windows 10, and I have not figured out what to do to get rid of it.  May be the result of using a pcie splitter on the 6th slot, but I have 40 other machines just like it and none of them are doing it.  Please share any experiences you have with this to give me some ideas.  I have reinstalled the drivers 3 times (August 234d blockchain drivers) flashed the video cards' bios back to the original, and removed all control parameters from the miner.  Looking for the "what else" I can try.  Thanks.

I had the same error on one rig. Turned out it has burned my SATA cable in PSU connector. This SATA was powering two risers, thats why 2 GPUs were affected.
After I replaced SATA cable it started working again, but it got burned again after a week, so I replaced the whole PSU - now its OK for 2 months.

Guys, what are you mining now with the new possibilities of Dual Mining by Claymores Miner?

Which coins goes best? Which coins do not lower the eth mining too much?

I liked eth/sia in the past very much - Others I was not liking (eth/dcr e.g.)

Let's say my rig has right now 220 mh/s.

What would be the impact with the new coins? With Sia it was like 217 mh/s and 2170 /s for Sia. I like that really :-)

Anyone already using new algorithms etc.? Which pool? which coin? whats your single eth speed and what dual speed eth + x ?

Thanks a lot and best regards!

Thanks.

There is no point telling a thief not to steal, the best thing is competition, if we get a good pool that pays honestly then those thieves will have to change their way cause if not then nobody will be mining in their pool.

Hello Everyone!

Could somebody help me to solve my isssu ?

Ive got an headache trying to figure out this problem. In some time one of GPUs show 0 hashrate. CM trying to restart itself and no good.

It repeats the same message over and over until i restart whole rig.

GPUs are with modded bios.

10:09:05:728   174c   WATCHDOG: GPU 2 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
10:09:05:743   174c   WATCHDOG: GPU 2 hangs in OpenCL call, exit

10:09:16:800   174c   Restarting OK, exit...

Help please....

GPU 2 hangs.. Detach that GPU and try if the problems are solved, after that reinstall that GPU (Modding and driver)

Well , thank you . Ill do it. But why CM cannot properly restart itself ?

I was mine PASC few days a go, not that also forgot. One rig I use ETC and XVG, and on Second MUSIC and XVG.
XVG have big problems with pools, so for Now Antimepool I am using, but it seems less profit for at least 30-50%
