I have a 5 x RX570 on spread across two rigs.  Since upgrading to 11.6, my GPUs randomly lose 10% of hashing power.  After a few minutes they return to normal.  They don't do it all at once, it's just a random one at random times.  I moved back down to 11.2 and the power loss disappears.  Anyone else have this issue?

seems -oldkernels 0 helped me to for stable hashrate

Mr. Claymore,

I am using your miner and I am very satisfied its performance. However I have an issue about fee. Previously, I have to say you are very succesful with your job. And this fee is absolutely your right. There is definitely no problem. I have never thought about using the miner with nofee options. It is not an argument about fee. But I just want to say, when I mine Dual (Not Double), fee increase to %2 (so it is double). However my profit does not increase to double while I mine dual. In my opinion %1.5 fee on dual mining more fair. Of course it is your issue and I will continue using your miner. Just you might think about this.

Question about Failover option (I'm using the Cryptonight miner but guess it's the same for the ETH miner).

If I set the failover option in the epools.txt file as below "-ftime 0", if the failover pool fails what will it do ?
Will it try to re-connect to the main pool or will it just try to re-connect to the failover pool ?

Code:
POOL: -xpool stratum+tcp://<pool> -xwal <address> -xpsw X  -pow7 1 -ftime 0

Hi Gents,
Anyone using Claymore v11.6 on ethOS 1.3.1?

Since the latest update of the miner to v11.6 I am loosing connectivity for monitoring the miner on port 3333 after 15-21 hours of mining.
While Claymore keeps mining with no troubles only the monitoring is an issue. If I restart the mining process the monitoring is restored. I had no issue with the previous updates.
Tried to set the port manually but the problem still exist.

Anyone else experiencing this issue or has a solution?

Thanks in advance.

I just confirmed this issue and uploaded a fix: "Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal_Blake2s_Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.6 - LINUX - quickfix.tar.gz"
To confirm that you use updated version, find "b573" in the beginning of the log file (original v11.6 writes "b571").
This issue is related to Linux version only.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hi. I have this issue on our pool:

Looks like an issue with either our stratum server implementation or your client code. I've sent you a PM with additional details.

Is Serenity The Solution To Ethereum’s Difficulty Bomb?

Who knows the future , when will be our mining  unprofitable?

Interesting link from  https://cointelegraph.com/news/is-serenity-the-solution-to-ethereums-difficulty-bomb

the true is that in the last three month the valid shares are stable.

Just a query if anyone can help. I keep getting a “socket was closed remotely (by pool)” message come up since i restarted my rig. I havent changed any settings and my internet connection is working fine. I have contacted the pool (ethermine) but no response yet. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem lately?

Also shares seem to be in the 1500-2000ms+ range now rather than <100ms it was before.

Turns out windows had updated and caused an issue with wifi connectivity. Had to do a firmware uodate on the router and all is fine now.

as I can see from the readme file this miner has no dual mining support or am I wrong?
do you have an official bct thread?

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

It might have been answered already, or it might have not been;

On rigs with 9+ cards, how do I turn off card nr 10 and above? Even from command line when I use -di 0123456789, how to turn on or off those cards that are numbered higher than 9?

What version Claymore's runs the best with AMD rx 570 and 580 8gb cards and what driver should I install?

11.6 works very well. I'm running with RX580 cards on ethOS 1.3.1.

Thanks a lot for answer. I will try it and review here my experience. :-)

Claymore
Hi. I have this issue on our pool:
Looks like an issue with either our stratum server implementation or your client code. I've sent you a PM with additional details.

Confirmed, I will fix it in next update. This issue is not important since it is not related to main mining and you can see it only if you use "-esm 3" and "-allpools 1" is not used.
Right now you can use "-allpools 1" if you don't want to see these red lines, or just wait a few days when I fix it.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to use the new "Y" feature in 11.6 to automatically turn on compute mode....

I have tried the following but a no go

Make a batch file in an editor and nameit.bat then create a shortcut to it. Nameit.bat - shortcut. then right click on Nameit.bat - shortcut ->Properties->Shortcut tab -> Advanced and click Run as administrator. Execute it from the shortcut.

Any help would be appreciated
