I have problems whit my Sapphire Radeon HD 7990 6GB GDDR5.

I have already put the virtual memory in 16 but I still fail, use windows 10 ... I have desperate already, I want to mine ethereum!

http://i64.tinypic.com/ff2upu.jpg

that card is actually 2 GPUs on one card, each with 3 GB ram. so use win7 or Linux for ethereum.

see here about 2 gpus on one card:
https://www.anandtech.com/show/6915/amd-radeon-hd-7990-review-7990-gets-official

Thank you very much for the help, I'll look what I do

Anyone knows how to mine Electroneum using Simplemining/nvidia/nanopool?

I noticed Nanopool has a guide inclusing some linux Claymore settings, but can't figure it out how to get it working

Anyone tried and got it working?

Electroneum uses cryptonight algorithm, see here:

so just a quick question for all, solo mining ETC with claymore.  any thing to change from the pool mining configuration ?  seems claymore refuses to connect to a parity node.  works with parity or geth only ?  no documentation as far as i can see for solo mining.  thanks

edit: nevermind, for anyone wondering just use parity config generator for mining.  https://paritytech.github.io/parity-config-generator

What cards do have? Make sure they are showing in the Windows Device Manager without any errors.

If you mean me, they're a couple of 470 and 570 of 4GB, they all good in device manager, and patched with amd patcher.

If you are on Windows 1803, it could be from the update. There are many mining related issues from incompatiblity with the 1803 update. There is no need to use Aferburner with the Claymore miner anyway. You can set the core clock, memry clock, power limit, undervolt and fan speed directly in the miner configuration file or .bat file something like this

Quote
-cclock 1150,1150
-mclock 2000,2000
-powlim -15,-15
-cvddc 875,875
-mvddc 875,875
-fanmax 80
-fanmin 30
-tt 68
-tstop 75

I'm aware but the fans wont work right in claymore, some of them will show 0% and some other show whatever speed i didnt set, and thats just not the thing, they GPUs' temp go high because of this so i can't really use it cuz fans doesn't work for me idk why

-cclock   set target GPU core clock speed, in MHz. If not specified or zero, miner will not change current clock speed. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-cclock 1000,1050,1100,0".

-mclock   set target GPU memory clock speed, in MHz. If not specified or zero, miner will not change current clock speed. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-mclock 1200,1250,1200,0".

-cvddc   set target GPU core voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, "-cvddc 1050" means 1.05V. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-cvddc 900,950,1000,970". Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows.

-mvddc   set target GPU memory voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, "-mvddc 1050" means 1.05V. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-mvddc 900,950,1000,970". Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows.

Does -cvddc and -mvddc work the same if you specify 0 or nothing as it does for -cclock and -mclock?
