I tried to set EthDcrMiner64.exe to run as administrator in properties page.

The window just pop up and close rapidly after I double click the batch |o|.

I'm using Win10 1709 and 1803 version. Is it too old to cause this issue?

Thank you mate : )

Got the same problem either.

it shows "Driver is in use, try to start miner with "-driver uninstall" parameter" when I add "-strap 1" in batch file

I try to add "-driver uninstall" in the file and runs it but it shows it require Administrator to access it.

I add "runas /user:Administrator" in batch file but it just can't run appropriately and close the window rapidly.

My cards are gtx1070 with latest driver version 436.3 in Win10 64bit

May anyone please let me know how can I solve this problem?

Thank you for the kindly help.

Both v14.2 do BSOD with Vega and 19.5.1 when I use -strap.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
cmdrv64.sys

Strap Drivers are already in use when you load another instance of the miner. Here is log from b711 version :

01:37:11:329   fcc   Driver is not installed! Trying to install it...
01:37:11:373   fcc   Driver is in use, try to start miner with "-driver uninstall" parameter.
01:37:11:792   fcc   SSL: Imported 76 certificates from local storage

Rgds

Right click the miner, Properties and go to the Compatibility Tab and check the box "Run this program as an admin".

Nope.

Put a pause at the end of the bat file and see what error its throwing then you can work from there.

Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version is v15.0 - Supercharged Edition:

- now miner supports up to #384 epoch (4GB DAG size). Note that previous versions support up to #299 epoch, you will not be able to use old versions after #299 epoch.
- added support for Navi cards (ETH-only mode).
- now miner sets environment variables automatically (required for 4GB AMD cards).
- a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

Hello Sir

Claymore 14.7 is working fine on a machine with two RX480 8GByte Red-Devils.

However Claymore 15 says        cudart64_100.dll was not found

This occurs immediately on clicking start.bat   and no log files are created.

I am not running any Nvidia Cards.

I am running Windows 10 Pro with 8GBytes of RAM and and Intel G4400 CPU 3.3 GHz. Its a Gigabyte H170 motherboard.

Windows 10 version 1803 and build 17134.1.

Radeon Drivers are 24.20.13011.1009 with date 27/08/2018. They are patched with driver patcher.

How can the problem be fixed please? As I say, Claymore 14_7 runs fine. So v15 should work

Adding    -platform 1     (for AMD) makes no difference.

Here is the BAT file with the wallet address removed   Thanks for your support.

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100

Polaris. RX 580 8Gb. On Phoenix miner i have 34,2MH with cclock 1230 mclock 2250.

Polaris ok, but what type of memory? Samsung, Elpida, Hynix, Micron?
And what is the power consumption of your card running on 34.2 MHs?
I have only with hynix. And it give 34.2MH on PM. Power consumption about 90-100W from sensor. About 125W from wall.

Can you please tell me the OS version and what drivers are you using
Cause your results are simply gorgeous

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

Hi everyone. I need some help regarding mining with P106.

Rig specs:
- 7x Zotac P106, total sightly below 170 Mh/s
- Windows 7 64-bit
- nVidia driver version 382.53
- Claymore miner version 11.0 (any version newer than this will always crash for me!)
- MSI Afterburner version 4.4.2
- Virtual memory sufficiently high

Current situation:
- Been running this setup for past ~2 years with very few issues
- I've paid thousands of USD in fees to Claymore since the beginning
- Happy with performance, consistency and stability
- It's working fine right now

Problem:
- I am being forced to abandon v11.0 and install v15.0 once DAG #299 comes out
- I have tested the newer clients including v15.0, but they always crash to desktop immediately after detecting the GPUs
- This doesn't happen with v10 or v11
- Updating nVidia drivers to latest version / CUDA version makes no difference
- Phoenix miner is even worse for me (individual GPUs crash very frequently)

Anyone with similar experience / solution? Your comments will be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Bumping this. Still in need of a solution. Adding more RAM did not work, the new clients still crash to desktop.

Is there a way to just get v11.0 to run past DAG #299?

You have some great straps
And is there any chance you share them with us?

Hi, I've a Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse. Today I was trying to set claymore v15 and without specifying any clock value for gpu and memory I get 49.2Mh/s.
The card in these conditions goes to a cpu clock of 1700Mhz and a memory clock of 1750Mhz. If I try to lower the cpu clock to 1325Mhz I get the same result.
Can anyone give me some accurate settings to get something extra? thank you

You can flash BIOS from senior model XT. Productivity should increase but power consumption will increase and temperatures will rise. All operations are at your own risk.

One of the comments:
"could we apply this flash with a Sapphire Pulse 5700 which has a dual Bios?

Yes, I did this with mine, saw 1950mhz at 75-80 Celsius"

They not so great... Just about 0.2-0.4MH better than usual good eth hynix timings. And I will not share them. Sorry.

is ~1% better than some, as you called, usual good timing
every positive percentage is great noways, cause in this case, you can simply "forget" the pool fee for example when you make some math to predict a month revenue
if you have one card, or one rig, maybe is not a number of interest, but for a mining farm a ~1% of increase in profit is a number of interest

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

Yes, when rig is big this 1% is important. I'm taked usual good timings for hynix memory and spent many time in tries to improve them... Every change I flashed timing into vbios, restarted comp and make tests some time. So I invested a lot of time in 1% improvement for timings and making them stable.
I use 1235MHz cclock with 856mV and 2250MHZ mclock with 800mv. Card is Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ SE. Good card with good memory cooling and ASIC quality. I have other 580 card with hynix memory, but it can't handle 2250 memory clock with this straps and require more core and memory clocks to work proper - MSI GAMING X 8Gb. Not so good as Sapphire...
So I maked 2nd good timings for not so good cards. And them also a bit faster than usual good hynix timings and allows my MSI to work on 2215MHz memory clock with 850mV memory with about 32,5MH/s on Claymore with rxboost and 33,3MH on Phoenix with clKernel 3.

Amazing to see Claymore still powering through miner updates. I can only imagine how much money he already has from all the dev fees. I wouldn't be surprised if hes already retired.

Quoting a post from reddit:
"If half of miners use Claymore's software, the coins they mine are $5m/day. If the fee is 2%, Claymore earns about $100000 a day. That's $36 million a year"

Damn.

$36 million a year - this was back in 2017-2018 year!!! Currently all the mined coins are $2M USD/day. Infact 40% use claymore and his real fee is 1.3% so he earns just about 3.8 million per year. Poor Claymore. Let us donate him at the following Claymore's ETH addresses (where his devfee is send):

Hi all,

having a problem that i defeated once before, but struggling with again.

Reinstalled Adrenaline drivers for 18.2 (which have been working perfectly for a long time). Windows updated which blew everything up. no matter what i do, it still updates every few months. When I open claymore v 15, it gets through detecting the GPUs and then starts to "build Open CL" and then closes. adding "pause" doesn't give me any more info. In GPU-Z, i see that Open-CL is not checked for any of my GPUS (470s and 570s). In my troubleshooting notes, I have that not having a monitor attached can cause this, but there IS a monitor attached, so i'm a little perplexed. something with the computer doesn't see Open CL. I'm not quite sure why. I'm using software and hardeware that i've used consisitently for the past 2 years.

To be specific, here is the log

20:10:29:922   e80   ETH: 1 pool is specified
20:10:29:922   e80   Main Ethereum pool is us1.ethermine.org:4444

Hi all,

having a problem that i defeated once before, but struggling with again.

I'm using software and hardeware that i've used consisitently for the past 2 years.

try using linux or use https://hiveos.farm , a problem that you have a lot of happens if the windows are updated, so many windows users who reinstall the os to solve the problem

Theoritically, you can put Four Reference cards Navi in MSI X570 Godlike. My current tower cooler blocks the first GPU slot. Waiting on 3950X before actually putting the bonus MasterLiquid AIO from MSI X570's promotions.

Anyway, I tried with three GPUS (one custom AIO cooled, two reference coolers) and it works just fine. Their temps are not catastrophic either; With fan speeds less than 50% (therefore noise is tame), the GPU temps are around 65-75 oC, with memory junction temp around 90 oC.

https://youtu.be/IDsYGdhxayA

After 3950X is here, I will get one of that and another reference card 5700 and my goal of having four GPUs in one motherboard will be achieved.

For now the RX 5700 yiels around 48-49 Mh/S each with maximum GPU temps around 70 oC with memory temps around 90 oC, with fans running below 40 %.
This RX 5700 reference design is just great for me.

Can't see any reason not to make 52 mh/s with lower power consumption and gpu temps about 62 and mem temps about 72 and fans below 40. You will damage your memory in long term on 90 degree. Read my previous post and use PM with -tt 62 -cclock 1300 -mclock 900 -cvvdc 750
You can even use -mclock 910 for 52.7mh/s but you have to find lower -tt between 54 and 62. 54 works for sure. The fans will go between 40% and 60% depending on -tt .Currently testing ... -mclock 910 -tt 58 ..., seems very stable. Memory at 76 degree C. Fans at 46%. Power consumption 94 Watts.

Hi everyone, I have a Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse and I'm in this same situation: if I set -tt 58 -cclock 1300 -mclock 900 -cvvdc 750 the memory temperature never drops below 88-90 °.
I tried to decrease mclock value but it seems that any value inherent the memory that I set the program does not take it into consideration...do you have any suggestions? Is it necessary to unlock the card in any way? I'm willing to get a few Mh / s less than the current 50 but with slightly lower temperatures ...
