I think this should be Erik Voorhees next move for his company, it would be great for him to take down and own all these gambling sites that can't think of original idea. I think this could make Bitcoin entrepreneurs in the casino/gambling niche take a more creative path to their games and fair provability. This could really turn the community into a better place, instead of a lot of people ripping off his idea. He clearly has enough money to start filing lawsuits, this would also be good for his investors.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

I don't know Erik personally, but from his posts/writings, I don't believe he'd ever use the state to enforce a monopoly to his benefit.

Unless he had filed a provisional application before the Website and algorithm were made public, it is too late to seek protection.

What's the problem with similar services? If they don't offer anything better they'll just die anyway. The idea of handing SD profits over to laywers and the state in an effort to keep prices up makes me ill.
