Yes, there is. Create an offline wallet using Armory and Bitcoin-QT.

Use a cheap laptop that has never, and will never go online, to sign offline transactions. Print out a copy of your private key, and keep it in a safe, or safety deposit box. As long as the Bitcoin blockchain is functioning, you can recover your coins with your private key, no matter what happens to Armory.
