It cannot be simpler. You send any amount to the pot, and at the end of the day, if you win, you'll receive the pot.

You're right, from a theoretical point of view, a miner could behave in order to rise his chances to win the pot.

However, from a practical point of view, this is not very realistic, because you would need a significant hash power. Then, a miner, that ignores a block may loose the block reward, meaning that currently, if the pot is less than 25 BTC, no miner would even try to do it.

In order to avoid what you mention, we can include a secret seed, that would be revealed every n games. This would also mean that you would have to wait n days to verify the drawing, and you would have to verify all the drawings of the period.

If the pot becomes larger than the block reward, we will implement it.

What I don't like is no minimal and no maximum bet amount. There should be at least minimum bet threshold something like 0.001 imo.
