There's more and more advertisement for tiers website and low chat, and less and less real new airdrops announced here. I think we should focus more on the subject!

Maybe if there were more new interesting airdrops people would focus more on that. people will write about what they have on their mind anyways.

I've created a topic Airdrop listing websites where people can list their websites/channels/groups talking about Airdrops (or listing the referral links of airdrops they found here...). Hope it will make this topic more clear and focused on new and actual airdrops, thanks. Maybe if there were more new interesting airdrops people would focus more on that. people will write about what they have on their mind anyways.
Yes for sure but I'm just sick of seeing this topic polluted by people spamming links to website talking about airdrops we already got here...

think if the interlists say that the bot has done this and continue the promotional activity, things may be straightened.

Airdrop is a big help specially to those who needs it but what is the possible way to know if they're a scam or not? They're giving away some tokens that are really off value. Such a waste of time asking for it anyway.

Following up on the 23 August 2017 announcement on the OMG token airdrop update, we would like to share the following information:
The OMG airdrop is the first airdrop of a token to the Ethereum network, but we hope it will not be the last. It is our hope that our action will set an example for future token projects to do their part by doing airdrops to the Ethereum network, thereby tightly aligning all the interests seeking to use the Ethereum network for token sales with the interests of the Ethereum community.
In the spirit of open source development and mutual benefit, we are in the process of carefully reviewing our airdrop procedure and code, so that these tools can serve as a precedent and best practice for other token projects to follow.
As a result, the airdrop, which was expected to start on Monday, 4 September, has been delayed until later in the week. We will keep the OmiseGO and Ethereum communities informed of further news as soon as it becomes available.
Thank you for your attention.

The Byteball full moon airdrop in October will also be postponed to the next month, because the team needs time to organise the cashback processes and build more partnerships with merchats. There have already been built some partnerships. The airdrop tomorrow will take place. You can finde the official announcement here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.msg21533378#msg21533378

I see that many threads are misinterpreting the word of airdrop, airdrop should be consider something like a reward or "free money" for those that have already money in their crypto wallets. OmiseGO Teamhttps://www.omise.co/omisego-airdrop-update-3 A small but big impact suggestion from my side, I read that "article" for the first time and I couldn't find information about the airdrop. Went to the website there is no blog section where I can read the old announcements, how the airdrop works at your side, those that have bitcoin will receive anything or how?

Airdrop is a great idea if the project is able to get strong support from the community, but the level of scamin the space is very high and most of these developers are not fair with their token distribution and will likely look to dump their tokens on the market to exit their scam project

I was lucky with deeponion, by sure more airdrops in the bitcointalk community will arrive soon, and will exist a way to control to whom and how the airdrop will be distributed efficiently. developer must see the how the airdrops works.

I think there will be many airdrops for ETH holders in future. OmiseGo is the 1st. Indorse decided to airdrop on ETH tokens like Tenx, 0x, DigiX. But all these projects on Ethereum must soon be airdropping for ETH holders to get a big community

Anyone who is still looking for an airdrop coins... Why not try DeepOnion. It has started only two months ago but the success it now has is truly remarkable... Be part of the community who is one with the developers in developing and promoting their coins. Visit us, you wont lose anything by doing so. But you may gain a lot if youll try...

Most airdrops are unknown and not reliable, could be scams; just have to check on the sources and community understanding.

how airdrop can scam you. maybe they just try to collect information. But dont use your mail. use one trash mail for every airdrop
