This is a very interesting topic, although it would help to be able to weed out the scam coins. Project info, social media, Telegram or Slack, Team member, maybe a website (not that hard if you are a dev and want to create a legit coin), etc. The more info, the better idea we can have about the project.

I received email for OMG airdrop as well, everything seemed legit so went on webpage that also felt genuine with all those photos and info. After entering my address it asked for private key then I realized its scam. Almost fell for it. yes ,it's a phishing site First I couldn't understand why it's asking private. Then just ignored. |

I cant be bothered with these drops anymore after a few months most of these tokens end up worthless. I think it is a better investment of time to research the industry and make moves that way. Good luck to those who still airdrop frequently you are true warriors

really few are worth around 1ETH, some (mostly scams) peaks and more can be done, most are zombies |

I'm getting some weird altcoin airdropped into my ETH wallet here and there without me doing anything.
Like DATAcoin (DATA), and Xenon (XNN) tokens. I missed out on a lot of OmiseGo last time because I had transferred all my coins to a Ledger Nano S. If only I did it afterward.
