in my opinion , the most fascinating thing about Japan is although the usually has a lot of nature crises like hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunami, but they could pass all difficulties and be one of the most developed countries in the world.

There are many reasons for this. Japan is an ethnically homogeneous country, where there are no disadvantaged ethnic groups (there are the Ainu and the Burakumin, but they are too few in number). Also, the Japanese tend to have long working hours, with the average factory worker toiling for up to 60 hours per week, compared to 30-35 hours per week which is common in the western world. And despite the long working hours, the quality of the Japanese products remain among the best in the world.

Ya and they got fast response from local and national government. and i guess there proximity to the epicenter is nead so they are often visited by calamaties but its amazing that they resolve it fast unlike here in the philippines where it took billion on of charities and donors were given but until, that budget is still in question cause it was not all given to the casualties.

Fault lines are active lately and the West Coast is still waiting for that big one, when it hits we are going to have madness and destruction. Pretty sure I will be sitting on waterfront property or under the sea by the end of it.

Hashtags when everything else fails to show you care. Cheesy

Wonder if some people wake up and hashtag a issue and think because of that they are doing good in the world.
Has to be some one out there with this type of mentality!

Such a scary thing if this happen to our country.  Japan lies on what you called Pacific Ring of Fire, which is the most active earthquake belt in the world. This "ring" as they say looks like an imaginary horseshoe-shaped zone that follows the rim of the Pacific Ocean, where many of the world's earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur.  Japan is ready and well educated when earthquakes and tsunamis arrive.
