I have placed limit shorts from 550$ to 565$, now I am afraid the piglets on BFX are going to miss them...  Ok, the hilarity index on this thread just leveraged up ... we can watch all the worst epic bears get rekt shorting the Smaug breakout of a lifetime. And it will be without mercy and certain people won't be scene around these parts ever again. I've seen it before but not at what this magnitude will bring. Nothing would surprise me....cos that is some nasty bear structure put in across the big exchanges, and not even a 38.2% retrace on the likes of Huobi, although it was exactly that on Finex. |

Think of $465 like $435 earlier this month, like it will touch it a few times - that's what I mean by bottom. Roach - as usual, go fuck yourself. |

What was silly is that I couldn't switch fast enough from the bear state of mind to the bull one, so I missed the pump. |

Bitfinex had decent volume though . No, closing a small short from 541$ was the right decision, I'd do it again, it was a wash (I closed it as soon as I smelled a pump). What was silly is that I couldn't switch fast enough from the bear state of mind to the bull one, so I missed the pump. That 'pump', proved an out and out headfake on all exchanges except OkCoin Futures, and Finex. Both of those exchanges are notorious for Stop Runs. Short Traders who essentially had the right idea, would have gotten wiped out on both.....that is all that the big shooting star candles were....Shorts being liquidated. you would have had to have been very, very good, to have played that pump long....I suspect most that piled in, either piled back out at a loss, and/or are sitting right now biting their nails, heavily underwater, praying on the market to come back to them.....which is one reason why we probably go down from here.... ....another reason is that Bitcoin is getting listed on Nasdaq tomorrow.
