$40 a month is not big money, he can even earn $10 or even more then that in trading if he invests his capital there and if he has some knowledge about trading, because in altcoin trading if you are trading a coin and if that coin grows 10% then he would earn $10 according to his capital ($100).

Trade with a small amount of money like $100-300. If you consistently turn a profit beat the market for 5-6 months put in more money that you can afford to lose. If you don't then either buy and hold if you believe in bitcoin or keep trying with $100.

The best thing to do with your current btc is to invest it on trading sites. The best place to earn a lot of bitcoin. Just buy some altcoins whenever the price is low and sell it whenever the price is high. The only problem here is you cant predict the true price every day. But you can spend a little of your time to monitor the price chart of every altcoin you want to use. You can also invest it on mining. You can create your own mining system if you know how to create it.

Yes I agree with you, some says that $100 is not enough for making an investments into it. But I would believe that if you know how to handle small amount of money you are going to be able to become better holding big amount of money. Any investment is a risk, and if you want to earn a living you have to assume it. Otherwise, you can just keep your money there and not risk anything at all. Gambling is not a way to earn money, it's a way to risk a sum of money you can afford to. Investments can make you loose, in the worst case, a part of your money. However, you can do it smart.
