Awesome! You get to see and play the game early. You can then make the decision before the rest of the ION customers if it is good or not and buy or sell IONs before it hits the masses. Should be a rule that the people alpha testing can't buy or sell until half way through the beta period.

You don't NEED to be a programmer to alpha test a game. I just am curious how effective that alpha testing will be when the people doing the testing didn't notice or didn't care about bugs staring them straight in the face.

the point of testing games isn't to play them early, it's to try and break them, and this testing is going to be done by people who thought hashlets were real and didn't see/ignored bugs staring them directly in the face.

I don't understand that statement. What does Ionomy have to be able to reward someone with? I'm reading about points systems and things similar to credit card rewards. Would be cool if there were some new, unique idea. But the whole project seems like bits and pieces of existing ideas frankensteined into an impressively inflated recovery coin / economy.

the points were to buy xboxones etc remember. but you got 1 point for each $3 spent and were overpaying for the xbox. if you figure they buy ions in market buy then ionomy sells those ion for btc its a cleverly hidden profit to them. ie you arent getting a free xbox you're buying your own at a higher cost.
