he is wanting 3000E for a triple FPGA?!? I can't see where he quotes what hash rate it gets or power consumption

It's an xtremedata OPTERON drop in board. These were built by xtremedata for  Sun  servers based on AMD server platforms to speed up data processing with FPGA.

it is all junk, unless you can program the FPGA yourself.
