#1 no reputation loans
#2 dont try to buy trust
#3 unless you have collateral, dont try to get a loan until your account is worth something
#4 having a good trust rating is overrated, be someone youd like to trade with and people will trade with you again.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Go way to step in the muck is make it clear you do not speak English that well and ask for a loan within 20 posts.
Its usually pretty easy to read and no one here is going to take pity on anyone and give them a solid.

I would take Shorenas post to heart and start fresh with a new account.

Undecided what?! Could you try and ask that again and maybe we can help a little more with your question? If you're asking how to be trusted then all you need to do is be honest and helpful in the community.

we started on a flat rating.   but as time passes by with how we manage our reputation here, individuals will come to know us by that.  the more we do communicate or have a dialogue is the more we expose our true identity hence by if being always neutral will keep us on the flat rating?  usually trust is how we present ourselves in the community.  always be relaxed when on the keyboard because this what we are all about.  being cool. First of all, you need to work on your English so people can understand you better.

Then you need to be honest and helpful as it has been said and others will be willing to give you a helping hand even if your trust rating is on zero.

Do not attempt to scam people, nemesis has a way of catching up on this forum.

I would change rule number 3 into: Have a valueable collateral which can be easily sold by the lender and is worth around 110-120% of the loan amount. Do also not give collateral to the lender first, since they might scam u. Always use an trusted and reliable escrow!

There are some sort of things about which I would like to recommended you NOT to follow because these are DON'T(s) only . Please do not

1. trade with persons having negative trust unless you are sure you would not get spammed with negative trust .

2. tell people about an offer that no longer works .

3. trade with reversible payment systems being a newbie .

You want a newbie to be able to hide his trust so members will trust him? Oh dear, no. Even if the admins implement that, people in here will never trust a newbie in Selling goods, Loans, and Auctions (basically everything that involves money). Simply because if they will trust a newbie, then scammers will only make tons of newbies to change their identity.

But because you are not able to hide trust ratings right now, the best thing you can do is do nothing that will make your trust rating become negative. But sometimes even if you don't do anything bad or even if you follow the rules of this forum, there's still a chance that you'll get a negative reputation. I personally had a negative rating from DT members once because of false accusations of some trolls. I didn't even do anything.

Basically just don't post or support any ponzi websites here. Don't try to do some loans without collateral. Don't try to do good things for the sole purpose of getting positive feedbacks on your account. Search for the rules of this forum for the other details but those I mentioned are the most used reasons why people gets a negative reputation.

To put it in simple words, avoid doing anything reprehensible and dishonest and you'll be good. Read the guidelines posted at the top of evry section before doing anything and you should be fine.

I'm a newbie. I hear many people talk about having trusted feedback left from doing trades. I appreciate that the best way to gain trust is to be an active, positive part of the community. But specifically what I'm asking about as a new bitcoin enthusiast is the trade part.

1) But what does this actually mean doing a trade.
2) Could someone give an e.g or list some different ways there are of doing trade?

Thanks in advance.

1. Doing a trade means having a successful transaction with someone. If the deal was smooth enough, the buyer or the other party is likely to leave a positive feedback on your account.

2. Here are the things I can think of right now:
(a.) Trading alt coin with someone.
(b.) Currency exchange BTC>USD (or any other currencies)
(c.) Offering services like web design, signature & avatar design
(d.) Offering an escrow service
(e.) Lending money or successfully paying a loan on the or even before the agreed date of payment.
(f.) Buying and/or selling of digital and/or non digital goods.

Thanks for the clear and concise answer.
I think that's the first time - I've asked a question & had a completely 100% spot on reply,
which leaves me needing no more further Qs to clarify

On the off chance I may have your expertise further.

1) I'm having real troubles with the watch board facility – does it work?
I've tried i) selecting Add posted-to topics to watchlist.
ii) Adding board Id to watch board for e.g for this thread I added 1444844.0 it came back Invalid board.

2) How do I view my posts, if they haven't received new posts, for e.g. I may want to scroll back to find a relevant quote or if I'm reviewing/checking some info from my threads?

3) Is there a way of returning to my last posts in a thread? For e.g. in the instance a topic is particularly hot & there are pages of replies or if I do not check forum for a few days? I can click on view my recent posts, but unless I make a note of the page where I left the post I may have to scroll back pages in some threads to find relevant replies.

Any input highly valued thanks.

You can click Profile -> Show the last posts of this person. If you want to see all the posts of someone else click their name then Show the last posts of this person. This should resolve a lot of your issues. The watch board seems to only show watched topics that have been replied to. You can edit and see what threads you're watching though.
