Hi

I have a freind that remarked in the website of hashocean in the FAQs, that they presume mining diff. cryptocurrencies.
Would this explain their revenue? as some are new and not as complicated as Bitcoins.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

No , that would not explain their revenue, as long as those guys don't post any data about their mining. A old saying in this forum is, if they don't show data that they are mining, then they are not.
Now be smart and stay away from this ponzi scam as you could lose your money if you try to invest them, and your friend is only fishing for referrals by showing you that picture you have posted above. Save your BTC don't give to Hashocean.

No, heck no. Hashocean is just another ponzi with a "cloudmining" façade, just like scrypt.cc (anyone remember scrypt.cc? Pepperidge farm remembers). They claim that they mine with their kh/s yadda yadda but in the bone it is just another scammy ponzi. Save your money and BTC from this kind of service, be smart.

All cloud mining sites are really ponzi scheme or their ROI will be more than 2 yrs after , because no cloud mining sites gives you full details with proof of mining and earnings. Why if anyone really in the mining will give his revenue share to all the investors. This is just rotating the money from one user to another user till they dont run off the pocket or their sites start to give more investment target of what they want to run off.

Just for curiosity :
Their total power is around 131 Gh/s

if they mine Monero with the same power they could make around $ 46,910.37 per day
if they mine Ethereum with the same power they could make around $ 15,265.58 per day

Can this be sufficient to be their income?

Note : the numbers are from cryptocompare.com

explicitly not. look at their referral system - they cannot even afford the payment with the referral reward.
and one more important matter is, they are refusing to provide legitimate mining information - if their mining blocks are refused to reveal, then they are ponzi for sure - in most of the case.

badbitcoin mentioned this site as well:

FFS people, how many threads of this ponzi scheme need to be published.

MONEY DOES NOT FALL DOWN FROM THE SKY and if they cannot explain their profitability, it s an obvious scam. I ve been into crypto for a long, long time and trust me, this is just another scam.

Most of these cloud mining sites claim they have big mining rigs and show some hypothetical mining capacity and try to lure investors to fall in their trap. They can't grow those coins without mining them in reality and we all know they don't show their mining rig to us that mean they buy coins from the investors deposits and slowly distribute to their customers as payments. They will die when they will not get new investors.

Always ask question and ask for photos of the farm and mining proof. No proof, no money. Dont let scammers flourish.

Their is no easy money to earn, you have to do some work, all cloud mining sites are ponzi who never reveals where they do mining and their business details, then how will you will come to know about the site legit or not. Cloud mining site are nothing but they just do shift of money from one user to other user and at last they will run away when they get some good money.

most of the arguments and signs are explicit on the website, once you experienced this kind of scam, then you will gain the memory that you won't attempt the cloud mining without verifying them anymore. you should have take caution when they begin to have any kind of hash sale - which is very likely a signal of collapse, because i haven't seen any legit cloud mining website to provide hash sale.
