Yep.. I think it won't take long now.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

There is a resource intensive function called each time when a block is verified or a new block is generated. This function is sort of a countermeasure for GPUs or similar potent computing platforms.
I know it is annoying, there will be some solution to bypass it during wallet app loading. It's quite easy to modify the code to bypass it, but I need to perform few more tests before I add this feature.

Perhaps FCN has not yet been added to the exchanges because the source code is not available?

O ok. I did not see the source was published because there was only binaries to start with. So there is no reason why it should not be added.

You should update the ANN with links to the source code.

Also, I'm consolidating some resources and have moved the Block Explorer to http://104.156.253.111:3001/

It's probably syncing but slow, as explained above. Once new blocks downloaded, they are first verified (for a while in current version) then saved on disk (and displayed).
