Yes this thread is pretty much dead but fancy graphics and logo's have nothing to do with the tech behind a coin.  How the hell does some fancy graphics make a coingen or cut and paste clone coin anything different than 500 others that are already abandoned and worthless?

I would not be so hasty with writing this off. I would give the dev a while still.

I agree.  There were commits to the github repository within the last couple of weeks.  There has been significant changes made to the bitcoin codebase.  More than just a copy paste and create a new genesis block like 99% of the crap coming out on a daily basis that people jump all over because of some recycled graphics and a fancy logo.  Everytime I see a post about "Sweet graphics" or "I like the logo" I want to cringe.

People were slamming Bitmonero now Monero in the beginning because it was all command line, had a sparse ANN without any graphics, and wasn't hyped by a bunch of shills.  Only a few of us were mining it for well over a week before anyone gave it a second glance.  It was new tech and that's what interested me.  It payed off.  I'm not saying that will be the case here but there's more future potential than the latest x11 clone, masternodes, pos, ICO scam garbage, etc...

True.  Sometimes the rough diamonds are the ones without the fancy bling.  I like the devs plans, the million dollar question (like every other coin) is if he has the skills to land it. If he can land it it will be big, if he bails it will be dead in the water.

Guys, I did discover some mathematical cumbersome issue while working to translate algorithm for mobile app.
It maybe be required to issue a new Release Candidate (RC3) which will harden the mining process.
I am quite adept of math around gaming but it's a branch of math not well explored which changes every year.

Guys, I noticed last week that the block explorer server is not working anymore. Is it possible to get the code passed to me, I have the generic code saved, but it's not worth to start from zero, I will just diff the code and host it on a some_x.facilecoin.org if your are so kind.
I will add any banner the original code owner wants (if it is legal, so no bets or p0rn) to the server. Smiley

As about yobit, I have no answer, I paid in April, I got promised, after I told you I got a weird support message to restart my "add coin" process, I discovered to late it was a dumb support answer by their omnipresent chat mod "domeniqihrzog" something.. at this point I have serious doubts they mean business..

Sync is pretty slow for me, but really cool idea. How much total coins are there?

Around 1.9 mil, but I assume new coins will be generated slower soon.

I was getting this error until I uninstalled Python:

Also why does the wallet take 30minutes to start while "Loading block index..."?

Each block has to pass a bottle-neck computing "knot" placed there as a countermeasure for GPU mining. From time to time the binaries are updated to speed this process, however, I would remind you it is much shorter than syncing bitcoin (ofc, is only a technical comparison,  FCN is far away behind BTC in value.. )
As about the python issue, yeah, human mining client is wrote in python and there is an issue with nuitka (the python compiler employed - a great piece of software actually) which will clash with some python distributions, an issue I could not solve so far.

POST EDIT: I now recall - your particular issue has little relation with your python distribution, it is rather connected with the openssl distribution you have installed, your python distribution only wrapped it.

POST SCRIPTUM: BTW, the RNG coming with each OS, framework, compiler tool-set is so trustable that each one attempting to use it have to rely on a hash algorithm in the end to get some sort of a safety level, as bitcoin guys did, as I also did when coding heuristic algorithms for FCN - it was quite weird to see algorithm branching on same 3 - 4 integers when trying to get a random branch, despite seeding RNG with every possible combination of random seeds.

Here you go.  I was setting something up and had issues with the other server that I couldn't resolve.  I setup a block explorer here:
