Well it is really going to be the year of bitcoin each year. Because each year bitcoins adoption is keep on rising.
That's why this year is going to be the year of bitcoin as the halving happened this year.
And next year also is the year of bitcoin.

In the midst of a sudden rally, all of you are suddenly "hopeful" that 2017 will be the year, eh? This is plain speculation and not based on any sound principles. The value of Bitcoin will progressively decrease as it becomes more commercialized-- this is a fact. And it is a fact that will allow Bitcoin to survive. Either way the zenith was reached many years ago and most likely will never reach that level again (unfortunately).

If you want something profitable, why don't you put your money in a technology company? It is inevitable that there will be exponential growth in next nine decades, is it not?

As much as adoption right now is being offset by whales cashing out, when mass adoption begins occurring the opposite effect will take place, people won't want to cash out, not even those with vast sums, because bitcoin will become a currency in its own right, globally so, and thus the price will shed its fetters and begin rocketing.

Yes you are right, there are a lot that is more to come for sure it is going to be. And you must believe that it is going to happen.

No dude, I still believe that bitcoin still has a future and with the limited supply and increasing demand there is only one thing that would happen and would be the where the price increase will happen.

In my point of view I just think it very simple base on the basic principle of law of supply and demand.

You are definitely in time sir. Bitcoin is still a relatively new technology and is just in its starting phases. Once it really gets started, nobody can estimate the price that it can go to.

yes I'm sure everyone hopes bitcoin could last forever.
bitcoin supply about 21 million coin, and likely to be completed mined around 2048. but I predict bitcoin will not last forever. but 50-100 years is enough for me to keep playing bitcoin, because after that I probably would not use bitcoin again.

and predictions about the price I'm sure every year will increase, especially after the next halving most likely when the bitcoin's increasingly difficult to get, the price will definitely increase.

and what about the this half year remaining in 2016, what were your expectation before halving and what do you think in the end of 2016. i think  the present time is really the year of bitcoin and how on ward every year will bring good news about bitcoin.

Yeah, probably, part of the effect of this years events will be felt next year, and we are now having a high price, so probably that will attract new users and it means new investments to bitcoin too and they will add weight to the demand too..

I think we can see a great increase this year as halving happens this year. I just really hope that $1,000 will be achieve this year and I am very optimistic with that. With the current behavior of the market the price is increasing and I think the moment it will reach $700 then it would start to steadily increase.

Without the halving it will depend on news, in that matter the price is not very volatile because of the news, unless there is bad news, a hack for example.
That's why no big rise will happen.
