I made money buying Litecoin before its halving and selling after it rallied. However, its price continued rising after I sold, so I bought back in just before its price went back down. My losses were bigger than my gains due to my crap trading skills. I'm sure other crap traders will have the same experience during the Bitcoin halving, and lose more than they win.

Halving is just a trend in bitcoins that can either increase/decrease the price of bitcoins. Litecoins lost during halving and the price reduced a lot. We can possibly reach $250 but as of now, the price is increasing and I don't want it to drop which may lead to a panic situation among sellers.

everyone who refuses to step away from the shackles of government banking cartels issued currency and the financial enslavement that comes with it will pay for it. Along with hose who engineered that whole scam.

remember that if you're here, because at some point you have decided to dump and escape in your fiat warehouse, then you might not really profit from bitcoin

you should aim at using bitcoin directly one day, only when that day come you will profit big with bitcoin, and when i mean big, i mean really big, so big that your entire family's generation will live without working

So everyone is saying to hold as much bitcoins as possible to get some nice profit during halving. Now i know trading is zero sum game so how everyone who is holding will be profitted during halving?
What are the after effects of halving? Can we see  $250 again?

i may not be certain about how high bitcoin price is going to go. but i am hundred percent certain that we will never see $250 again.
these days that are going to last for a couple of more months we will only witness the rise of bitcoin. it is slow now but soon i think a big rise will come.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I wouldn't say "certainly." Rather, the proper word to use is "most likely" that we would not see $250 again.
I'm just suggesting margins into our use of words because bitcoins aren't really completely unpredictable such that there could be an unfortunate event that may happen in the future that would enable us to see $250 again, but given the current situation, an event like that is most likely not gonna happen. Well, let's all just hope for the best.

Everyone will profit from bitcoin if everyone uses bitcoin. That means their savings will not disappear due to inflation.

I think if you stay holding the bitcoin these days and you wait on the halving everyone can make profit with the bitcoin for sure.
Of course no one knows what the halving will bring us but most likely it will be good.

This situation sounds alot like buy the rumour sell the news which is to say that markets can be ironic in their movement.   The block halving is well flagged and could be that the price leads lower after that event not long term but over weeks or months.

This would be normal activity in a distributed market so thats what Im expecting

Presuming bitcoin is more efficent then normal that could be true.   Security and integrity is the main thing and I guess it compares well on transactional costs too

It can go up or down after the halving, nothing is for certain, but based on the facts you have to make a decision whether to buy now or not and the fact is the supply of bitcoin is going to cut in half and therefore for miners to continue mining profitably the price has to stay the same and/or go up.

Those words are hollow coming from somebody who doesn't buy bitcoin with fiat, but who "earns" bitcoin only. You aren't risking shit.

Litecoin halving made people lose out what they thought they would gain from their halving.
Sounds like a revelation of what might happen here with bitcoin.

If everyone is making money, then no one is making money -myselfbtc

There is no way for EVERYONE to make money. It just cannot happen because it simply does not work that way. Someone will buy the ATH (or in this case, the top of the rally) and therefore, they cannot profit.

well i've actually invested in the mining equipment(in fiat money), by using the first coins that i've generated, all started from zero in my case

i've started with a single gpu and that gpu, has gave to me plenty of coins

and anyway i was forced to begin without fiat, because i had no money...
