The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

did you guys follow the advice of cannabannana to use the ARK code for your new development?
if you haven't done so already, maybe you wanna try that route and maybe someone you can recode some of it yourselves for your purposes. not sure if giveaways are the best marketing for a coin.

We're sticking to the original ICO plan based on Lisk and adding features unique to RISE (SDKs, DAPP builder, smart contract tools, etc.)

That is correct. Only the first 101 active Delegates that have the most votes from the community will receive forging rewards. This Top 101 is dynamic, so if you are a Delegate on Standby and you manage to gather more votes than someone in the Top 101 then you get to take their place.

You do not need any Rise in your wallet in order to forge. As you're forging the forging rewards in the form of Rise tokens will be instantly deposited into your wallet.

Forging is not officially open for community yet, but it will soon be after Rise mainnet is updated to latest code and the current Genesis Delegates (Rise Foundation Delegates) are removed. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile you can register as a Delegate with your online wallet and submit a Delegate Proposal on our Rise Forum to position yourself to be one of the 101 Delegates to be voted in so you can forge.

Post your proposal here: http://forum.rise.vision/category/14/proposals

And while you're at it you can also register for the Delegate Contest to have a chance at winning up to 400,000 RISE.

Read details here: http://kuuv.io/i/eXbLLY2.pdf

Soon we are waiting for another useless Lisk fork ARK.

actually ARK is legit and has rewritten the code base and can push 200tx per block at 8s no problem.  If Rise was smart they would recode using an ARK fork, at least this way in the future they will have access to native SmartBridge features.

Rise team - was this taken into consideration? And what's the name of the new dev team? Hopefully it's not "Don't Panic Consulting version 2". no more dummy consulting company.

Of course it has started. How would I have gotten a vote if it didn't start.
An I can buy Rise, cook hamburgers, patrol the trailer park, delegate and post all at the same time. I've got skills.

I'm no expert but if you have your passphrase then all should be well.

Hi @bittraffic,

Did you keep your Rise tokens in the ICO account, accessible via the Rise website (http://rise.vision), or did you have an online wallet set up via https://wallet.rise.vision  ?

In the first case your tokens are fine since your ICO account is associated with your email address and if you forgot the password of your ICO account we can reset that for you.

In the second case,  if you have your passphrase to log into your wallet as Stein already mentioned then you're just fine as well. However if you lost your passphrase then no one can help you to access the tokens.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance, thanks!

The problem will likely be the flood of L3's coming online and the massive increase in difficulty.  Profitability is likely going to get squeezed pretty hard here. I am trying not to be negative, but I think we have already seen the precursor with the big spike recently that we thought was the A4's.  Most likely that was due to the L3's and not as much the A4's.  Just a wild guess on my part, but it certainly fits the time line.  Not sure that these miners will be profitable for very long.

I'm happy to say it's finally done.

There were some problems with the writer but we managed to finish and distribute it to PRBUZZ.com, from there it's distribute to hundreds of news outlets:
https://www.prbuzz.com/business-entrepreneur/417760-rise-investors-warn-bitcoin-community-against-fraudsters.html

Google has already indexed those other news outlets

Remember  this three fraudsters: Justin Donnaruma, Cormac Lucking and Steven Remmington did succeed in scamming us, but now they won't be able to do that again, to anyone!
