Actually I misstyped 0.45, sorry guys.
I wonder if I can cancel it and get penalized somehow, if such option is available.
But if I must pay that much, it will take a bit until I settle a few things around here first.

That having been said I will pay 0.5 BTC across 18 shares so 9 BTC.

The auction has ended yesterday at 22 EET. I'm sorry, but I think it would be unfair toward other bidders to let this auction continue.

True, but if anyone reading this has shares they can let me know.  It's that or a WTB thread..

I'm sorry, but this is an auction, you should pay more attention to what you bid. Unless you pay the price you bid for these shares (and forced others to bid more than you) I will fulfill your bids last, ie. you go to the end of the line. You have 48 hours to come up with the payment. You may also settle for a smaller amount of shares.

Would that then mean other people that placed bids are still obligated to purchase those shares?  I only ask because I assumed the funds I bid (21BTC) could then be used for other means due to "losing" the auction.   Just seeking clarification.

Thanks,
David

Nanopene has contacted me and promised to pay for the shares. I have given him the option to a) pay for all 860 shares at the price of 0.5 BTC per share b) pay whatever amount he can pay for at 0.5 BTC per share. Unpaid shares will then be sold to next highest bidder until all shares have been exhausted c) not pay anything and lose the possibility of getting any shares. This should all happen before the projected dividend payout.

Thanks for the update.

I just wanted to post a clarification. If in case Nanopene does not pay and you have to go down the list until you hit the price of 0.43 - then my name wisard should get priority over johnyj's bid. Because I posted my bid well before his. (Right now, his name is listed above mine - not sure why. I didn't say anything because it was a losing bid and didn't matter. But if it is a winning bid, and the number of shares matter, then please make sure I get the first preference for bids placed earlier - I will buy the shares. Thanks.)

If nanopene totally backs out, then I have a big mess on my hands, as his bid pretty much put an end to further bidding. I will need to see what is the fairest thing to do in that case. I've received tons of PMs asking for shares, placing bids, changing bids etc.

Icebreaker and Berto had higher bids than nanopene, and they have already paid. Needless to say, their bids would've been unlikely to exceed 0.5 BTC without nanopene's bid.

The dividend payment day is just 2 days from now. If I'm unable to settle this auction before then, it's all gonna be even more messed up, as the shares will not get transferred in time etc.

I hope to hear from nanopene soon, so we can settle this auction in a professional and fair manner.

Update:

Nanopene has contacted me and promised to pay for the shares by the end of the week. This means, that the dividends might get paid to me, but I will reimburse him for the amount when he completes the payment.

Auction is hereby closed, Icebreaker and Berto will hopefully receive the ownership of their shares by tomorrow. I will now contact Friedcat to complete the transfer.

Thank you everyone!

I am really sorry for the mess guys.
I should have been way more careful, as it was my first time at the auction.
I wish to take responsibility of my mistakes, I'll be back to you guys with the definitive decision tonight.
It is not lack of funds or lack of will, but lack of a sterile environment to access my wallets. I am currently out of the country and that makes it harder for me.
