PlatinumBAR is a Quark based cryptocurrency with PoW, PoS, and long term support (LTS). PlatinumBAR uses the rock solid 9-hash algorithm Quark for Proof of Work and the Novacoin for Proof of Stake.

Platinum is a chemical element with symbol Pt and atomic number 78. It is a dense, malleable, ductile, highly unreactive, precious, gray-white transition metal.

The seed node is 159.203.21.62 which is hardcoded. 

If you're mining, probably be best to mine at the pool.  Once the regular blocks kick in staking will begin and a lot more people will have their wallets open.

We plan on adding more nodes in the future.

Unless you have a large setup, it's probably best to mine at the pool.  The software is in the OP.
