Per Year.

Per year? how it's possible you stake 9460 coins if it's 23% per year? 4700 x 23 %= max 1081 coins, i believe it's 23% per month!
And if it this, is good, many people like High PoS coin

You don't stake about 9 months, 4700 X 207%= 9729 coins, we are more near about what you stake....

Looks like it might be 230%

Code:
static const int64_t COIN_YEAR_REWARD = 230 * CENT; // 23% per year Proof of Stake inflation

The other developer who has since left, did the initial release.

Yeah, to be honest it did seem that the coin supply was growing unusually quickly for only 23% a year.  I pretty much just chalked it up to compound interest and never gave it a second thought.

Not a big deal though, in my opinion.  Everyone who has been staking the past year has been staking at the same (unintentionally) high rate.  Everyone's share of coins has remained proportionally the same, regardless of whether the interest was 23% or 230%.

You can fix it and drop the interest down to 23% or leave it as is.  Up to you.

And I don't think anyone here is going to object to you putting the premine to use.  That's what it was there for.

I never really noticed it until now.  I was actually kind of shocked to see the amount of coins I got in the dev wallet.  That was only 1 stake.  I closed the wallet after that one.

I thought it was kind of odd to get that many coins, but I've been busy and didn't really look into it until you mentioned it here.

I think that change the direction you want to give for your coin! With 230% can you still say "RARE"

Many user don't open wallet since long time

True, everyone is staking the same.  I'll have to think about it.  I think more people would complain about it being changed to 23% from 230%.

It's still pretty rare, there's only 136K coins.  I guess it's how some defines "rare".  Of course, that number is going to go up over time.  So, it might not be considered rare in the future.

People who don't open wallets at all, aren't staking at all.  They obviously aren't interested in making coins.  Since this coin is pretty much PoS at this point, they should be staking if they care.

you should try to get XPTX listed on https://poswallet.com/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/posw-coin/

its a Online Wallet for Staking. Also there is a exchange.

Basically for people that love to stake (25000 Users). With 230% per Month the supply of XPTX should dry up very soon.

I visited their site and they don't have any info on how to add the coin.  If they would like to add the coin they can.

Also, it's 230% per year, not month.

You have to register and click "add coin".

But from experience it is the easiest way when you join their Slack.

Good to know.

Once things are updated I'll take a look and see if I can get it added.

@blackchopper: the idea with poswallet is a good one, cause a lot of people are not running their machine 24/7. registration is free and there is a formular in the addcoin section to give details about the coin. Should be done by you because u have the option to get it free or pay for it https://poswallet.com/addcoin.php

Right now we're working on a code update.  Once that is finished we'd consider poswallet.
