Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price?

I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum

Well yeah I guess that could happen. If there were multiple people that wanted to manipulate the price, they definitely could do it. I have never seen it happen before though.

maybe it's impossible to manipulate the price except it's satoshi nakamoto, but i'm sure a group of people should do this and i've seen this activity in few altcoin market,they're dumping and bumping the price at the same time,such a structured ways to gain more bitcoin through good teamwork

the exchangers are doing it daily. they have bots who are "working" on that

I think so. only exchangers can manipulate the price. what can talkers do? the last way to convert bitcoin to fiat is exchanging it.

The number of bitcoin is going to increase every day so the more bitcoin are in the market the harder is to manipulate the price. It is possible but it is need the big traders help for this.

I agree with this. IMO Bitcoin is something which is against centralization and manipulation. It is a part of the free market where no one controlls the prices and that's the beauty of it.

In my opinion, I think we cannot manipulate bitcoin, my reasoning is due to the widespread distribution of coins and bitcoin has been in existence for a longer period of time. There should already be a major number of bitcoins holder in terms of volume, so if anyone wishes the price to be manipulated he needs to seek cooperation from a considerable number of bitcoins holder to act according to the plan of manipulation. This is already a large market in terms if volume as you can see in the charts of analysis so definitely that would already tell us that it cannot be.

to manipulate the price of bitcoin you need to have so many bitcoin, if you want to do that make a group and the fund will be 1000 btc at least to make that happen but it will always have someone who have more fund than you that will manipulate the price too.

1000btc is still not enough to manipulate bitcoin, imagine the market capacity( more like 8 million) + the current value of it. You need atleast 1million bitcoin capacity to really move the price of bitcoin and manipulate it but even you have this high amount it's still not enough to make the price goes a real dump and pump value. I think what exactly you need is half of the current amount of the market capacity to be able to surprise people and make the price on a flash report news. Maybe if someone on the forbes rich man will do this thing then it will be possible but I doubt it will happen, businesses doesn't want to adopt bitcoin yet.

Is it possible if many bitcoin users help us because if only here in bitcoin forum i think few people only here and i think the big holder of bitcoin is not here so theres a chance that we cant manipulate it. But if we have  80% of bitcoin worldwide i think we can manipulate it and we can earn here big.

Nope your wrong with that big names in btc and holders are here and theyre hiding their identity but still they are socialized people here maybe and bitcointalk.org is the main furom of btc created by satoshi nakamoto thats why their no doubt that they are here, and also chinese people is the biggest btc player they can manipulate the price of it if they want if reallt they want to play with it, thats why anyone can manipulate its is because even individuals that have big amount can control it,

We can't but the whales can, they have the most volume of bitcoins and if they dump bitcoins it would really affect the price. Other factors that would affect also is if there is a negative news for bitcoins, there will be a panic selling and would drop the price significantly.

I think that wales and exchangers could influence the price. I'm not sure if this could be called manipulation but the price of Bitcoin isn't formed purley on the market. But that also rises the question if Bitcoin is then fully indenpendent?

Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone, hence cant be Manipulate.
