I heard its the Chinese people and we see a temporary abrupt price, I made money that time because I was able to sell my bitcoins when the price hits $700+, now I have the remaining bitcoin save in my wallet and I hope to see another increase and hope this time it will reach up to $1,000. |

In my humble opinion this world is one big stage, and some people manipulate with everything around us. So what is bitcoin for big players, governments, huge companies? Playground? World is one big playground for them, and for sure with bitcoin can be manipulated also. They manipulate with food, water, weapons, politic, wars, sport events, why not with bitcoin also?
How? Well like with everything else, with lot of money putted on right places.
Now even when something true happen, we can not have pure faith in that, cause we know what some people can do. Conspiracy theories around us make our mind full with wrong information`s.

They put some money in bitcoin that's why the price rose. Back when the price rally started in May, it's all because of manipulators. Why it boost up much? Of course because people think that the price rise is due to the upcoming halving, they ride the trend and start accumulate bitcoin too that's why price rose much up that. |

with the power of bitcoin I'm sure there will not be that could affect the price of bitcoin. there will be no one who could affect the market price. if true, then the person must master at least 30% of bitcoin on the market. it was quite difficult.

I think its possible of course, its just problem how much money someone needs to have to be able to manipulate with btc, now when btc is so expensive. I also think that something like that happened before to btc, in early days people used this fact to earn. I see how some people manipulate with cheap alt coins, and from that I make conclusions. Normally btc is so expensive now, and not everyone can do this things with btc. Except the knowledge, someone needs to have huge bankroll and to know exactly what to do with all that money. For sure to have a big team with him, this is not one men operation. |

The price is already being manipulated. I am not sure if we can do something since most of the coins are with the whales.
They determine the value of bitcoin these days.

I think we can't do that, only big guys and miners in china can easily changing price, but i think with community forces we can also manipulate a price.
I think even they are selling those bitcoin i think we are still here to buy it or there is other investor waiting for the price low.. so if china sells it and the price goes down i think that investors will buy bitcoins and hold and we will see that the price will increase again.. for now we can not decide to buy or to sell if the price will go up or down.. many people are waiting for price dump before they start buying again.. |

It also depends on the exchange, but if you are talking about big whales, with at least 2000-3000 BTC, then they can easily dump the price down like $50-$60 on an exchange like Bitstamp. This is of course assuming that all the coins get dumped at once. |

What is Bitstamp Volume at day? "Changing the $/ BTC rate" is not a thing of 15 seconds, there is about hours and days. |
