There was a correction (on average) across the board that brought the price down to the $450s, so it might not be by this weekend that we'll be seeing $500.

It's probably better for the price to have been corrected like this, now we can see if there is really support for higher values, or if it was just a bubble and it's starting to burst. I have faith it isn't a bubble, but we will see.

I don't see a big panic selling event happening. At best we will find a price around 410 usd again, but not anything under 400 dollar. At least not before the halving that is.

Only a few days left and it's not possible to even reach $480 seeing a few setbacks and small retraces. If bitcoin crossed the $500 mark in just a span of ~6 days, it would cause a stir and FOMO will begin (which I think wouldn't happen anytime sooner).

But the real speculation we will not hit $500 at this beginning of may and i think more weeks before we will see that the price will reach $500..
If you see the updated chart price of bitcoin i think may is not the best month to the price increase and i think this june we will see a big pump for bitcoin.. block halving is too far to decide right now to buy more bitcoins..

I hope everything will be fair in future, the price is rising in a decent manner at the first week of May we can expect the price to be $500 and within two months we can see exponential growth and can earn big amounts during halving.

Achieving $500 in a short time is possible, but as I wrote earlier - decrease under $400 is in front of us .. most likely in middle of May.
