Hey,
Quick question, for calculation purposes; say there was a website available for prospective bitcoin businesses to go to for resources and start-up BTC capital loans(pay-outs made directly to developers etc to prevent ponzi schemes).
With the ability to invest in said organisation, with investment terms of a minimum of 1 month, how much would you expect to see in return? Would you like to be able to choose which schemes you invest in, or would you be happy leaving those decisions to the team?
Of course, there's plenty of bitcoin loan facilities already there, but this isn't quite the same concept.
Thanks!

I wouls expect at least a 1% return in one month to send money to such a site. But it depends on trustability. I would demand a higher interest if I judge the site is not very trustworthy.
Just my opinion.

I feel that this site to be perfectly fine would have to calculate current cost of BTC in correlation to FIAT to prevent fluctuation of price. Imagine this scenario:
1 Bitcoin is worth $500 at the beginning of the month but at the end of the month price dropped to $400 - and I received my BTC + interest rate. But if I had access to my BTC I could react and sell it earlier during initial price drop.

To be honest, if an untrusted company gave a super-high interest rate, most people will call it a ponzi. If the interest rate is too low, people would call it a scam. Youb have to find that "goldilock zone"

Youb have to find that "goldilock zone" well, super high interest rate is a red flag nothing else. and that is because no business can produce those high rates in a short time and share it with the investors. to be honest for me the a little up or down of interest rate is not important as long as the plan is legit, which they usually have a hard time providing proof of their legit business.

Yeah I fully agree with that just don't trust these high-yield profit schemes because the offered interest rates are very unrealistic and are just honeypot for big investors. If you can trade yourself or invest in your own business I think you will see far more safe although lower profit in the long-run than relying on dubious investment schemes that tend to run away with your money after they have accumulated enough deposits.

If you want to invest a little amount of bitcoin, then you should go for at least 1.5% interest per month, which will fetch you 18% return annually.
However, there are several factors you need to take in to consideration if you want to invest big amount. Described below.
1. Project feasibility - You need to be sure that the project has a real life feasibility and they will become profitable in near future. Don't get in to technical nitty-gritty but try to understand that how this technology will help the company to earn money.
2. Project developers background - It is hard to gather this, but try to know the developer details and their credibility before investing big bucks.
3. Price volatility of Bitcoin - The price of bitcoin keeps changing. Try to get the last year's avg price movement and compare with your return. if the return is more than the average price movement, the return can be profitable for you.
4. Third party verification - Always verify the credentials of the middleman and broker who is facilitating the transaction. Just to be sure that your money is not in wrong hands.

This list is accurate. These factors are indeed needed to be checked before investing bitcoins especially the second one. There are some infamous ponzis who, after getting enough deposits would suddenly shut down. And the devs of that site would just create a new one under a different name.

I would like to see atleast 2-5% intrest per month. And yes I would like to choose from different schemes, for example if I invest for 3 months the rate of intrest will be more than in the 1 month plan.

If our forum fixes a standard interest rate, users will be affected as each depend upon certain interest rate for their reliable earning. This gets affected and process of lending which is also needed for bitcoin growth.

-100% because most of those investment website are scam. The real ones only able to give about 0.5%-5% in a month.
Yup if you see some huge interest rates that is very likely to be a scam. If I were to choose an investment scheme for 1 month I would go for the lowest projected ROI possible that would still be more than a traditional interest rate offered by a bank savings account. I have participated in unrealistic HYIP before and I was burnt every time so don't believe in fake numbers and fake successful stories.

Agree, interest depends mainly on risk. If there is no risk i would be happy with 0,3% per month, but if risk is high, for same duration i would ask even 5%.
