It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

OpenCoin holds the majority of them. They're all in existence already.

I see Ripple as post office. XRPs are the stamps. The post office is giving away a bunch of stamps in order to get people to mail letters.

It might work. I'm pulling for them.
