Look like this time really make me sure about satoshi as bitcoin founder,is signed message is good and enough to proven than Craight Wright is founder of bitcoin?i'm still doubt because i dont see any other proof. and why craig use satoshi nakamoto name?

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

If Craig isn't Satoshi then Satoshi could just start spending his $450 million and leave Craig with the tax bill ...

Disappointed in Gavin......again.

Putting tin foil on, it could be an attempt to flush out the real Satoshi.

I agree regarding Gavin.
If this turns again out to be another hoax and failed attempt by Wright, Gavin should lose his commit access what Peter Todd already wrote via twitter.

As "Nice Try" mentioned above, this is 100% fake.  This sort of irresponsible "journalism" is just embarrassing... I mean, they were already fooled once by Wright's obvious fakery.

How can you be 100% sure? I agree genesis block signature should be used for proof, though.

This should be done right away (at least temporarily). This should be Gavin's last strike as he has started doing more harm than good (once the situation resolves).

The whole story will be release soon. The signatures have already been verified by Gavin and GQ btw.
Post the signatures here or go away (whoever is behind this account).

How can you be 100% sure? I agree genesis block signature should be used for proof, though.
Because people who I can consider sheep, including anyone who believed this even for a second, can't tell the difference between cryptographic proof and a random public TX signature (encoded in base64) (and thus get fooled easily). Craig has not provided something such as a signed message (e.g. required for recovering an account on the forum).

I have the proofs. Signed messages will be released soon.

this does not prove that you are satoshi, this only prove that you may have his wallet

there is no irrefutable way to prove it anymore, i'm calling this a fraud

But, why is there no proof on the blockchain?  Satoshi always made a point of providing proofs in the ledger....why wouldn't that have been done now or even just prior to this event?

Yeah I thought to sell, but then I declined. It's weird to know who he is, and I'm sure people are a touch nervous about him having 1 million bitcoin, but at the same time- before an unknown person had all those bitcoin. So at least we know who he is. And he has a pretty clear interest in helping bitcoin thrive, so, maybe it's better this way. At least we no longer need to deal with media reports about a "secret unknown hacker". On the other side, it might not be nice to have a public face of bitcoin. That said, other coins like litecoin or etherium do just fine with everyone knowing who started them. Maybe Satoshi can bring some balance to the politics of bitcoin.

Have you even read anything on this page? He has provided no proof, ergo he is not Satoshi.

Nope, and I don't really care to either. Frankly it's not that critically important to me. While I've met the other core developers, it doesn't matter to me who Satoshi really is. If it's this guy, then fine, if it's another scam- just another day in bitcoin land.

It would be nice to know definitively, but it's not critical to me. Hence I decided to ignore the news and not do anything vis-a-vis the market. If anything it's more PR for bitcoin. It's good to stay in the news.

Gavin's commit access revoked as a temporary measure while the community accesses whether he has been hacked, is untrusted, or incompetent. He is still a repo member but no longer has commit and admin privileges.

Then please do not make statements that confirm "X is S. Nakamoto", when "X is a fraud". You are not helping by spreading misinformation.

He got what he deserved; this is definitely going to be quite intriguing now. I wonder how Gavin is going to get away with this.
