I think that Gavin should be put through the wringer if he really is backing this bullshit story (just shows how ridiculous he has become in order to try and wrest control over the project).

Fuck me, but I agree. At least with the main clause.

If I've said anything amusing and/or informative and you're feeling generous:

Good to know that he is still anonymous the real SATOSHI, for some moments I thought why he wanted to display his actual identity after so long, and why all others were happy to believe it , I wrote in another post that I am afraid of bitcoin price going down. Feeling relaxed now, I don't want to know who the real Satoshi is, sounds much more beautiful to bitcoin not knowing the identity of satoshi for me.

Disappointed in Gavin......again.

Putting tin foil on, it could be an attempt to flush out the real Satoshi.

Really some people are believing this shit, no good proof, made up story with the only people who can verify dead and now Gavin saying his believes it could be true.
This could be a movie in itself, the man who thought he was Satoshi.

Does anyone here really think Satoshi would put all his bitcoins in a trust?

As "Nice Try" mentioned above, this is 100% fake.  This sort of irresponsible "journalism" is just embarrassing... I mean, they were already fooled once by Wright's obvious fakery.

It is strange that someone who boasts a fairly impressive technical CV like Wright's, would put himself in the position that he has if he can't 'prove' his claims to be true by signing relevant messages. If that would be sufficient proof for the community, that is.
IF he is Satoshi, or an element of the original group, his motivation for coming out could be one of a number of reasons, but this sounds like he's not planning on going quiet into the night with his coins.
A new forum.... coool, I wonder if he'll have sig campaigns, ponzis and all the essentials that we know and love?

Until then, see my new sig....

How can you not be interested in money and then spend years, your life, to create digital money?

Just another marketing strategy, attention seeking action. When debunked and blocksize tech becomes even more a problem, the world will realize the weakness of Bitcoin and BTC price will enter a new bearmarket, falls below $100...

Mr. Gavin turned his back on Bitcoin and started his own altcoin. Looking to extract attention from the real deal.

.... and "the Internet" is able to investigate and debunk this fraud in minutes while investigative journalists are fooled once again.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4hflr3/craig_wrights_signature_is_worthless/

Quote
JoukeH discovered that the signature on Craig Wright's blog post is not a signature of any "Sartre" message, but just the signature inside of Satoshi's 2009 Bitcoin transaction. It absolutely doesn't show that Wright is Satoshi, and it does very strongly imply that the purpose of the blog post was to deceive people.

So Craig Wright is once again shown to be a likely scammer. When will the media learn?"

Take the signature being “verified” as proof in the blog post:

Find it in Satoshi's 2009 transaction:

Pathetic that Gavin went along with this without being more skeptical.

gavin lost all his credits at the moment he walked over to an alternative client. he is only out to disrupt bitcoin at this point. it's indeed very pathetic.

You may think I'm crazy loving paranoid conspiracy theory, but may in fact be true, that this is the front person Craig said that impersonate Nakamoto. A true (s) Nakamoto remain in the shadows forever.

Craig Wright is trying to stage himself as Satoshi, that he and his sockpuppets have done some great work to be revealed in future. Then he joins Gavin on his shitcoin blockchain and they start to dump their own initial investments after which the project will be abandoned.

There are two possibilities:
  • Wright is Satoshi and Gavin is sincere.
  • Wright isn't Satoshi and Gavin is a part of a conspiracy.

Anyhow, the price is going down. Whoever was behind this idea, well played. You can easily fool the sheep of the community. The "proof" currently provided, is no proof at all.

I have the proofs. Signed messages will be released soon.
Go away.
