Hei Steve , last race of the year for F1 today we gonna miss it for the next months but I'm looking forward for the next season as I think ferrari really stands a chance for the next year. Juventus seem to be one of the teams that lose or draw to the bottom teams and then win against the big names.. so frustrating.

Yeah F1 finished up today on one of the most boring tracks on the planet. If Bottas hadn't started from the back and came up through passing cars, im not sure the director would have known what to show!
Certainly not a good race to show people who are new to F1. Im looking forward to Vietnam next year, that track looks epic.

22 races in a season is great for us, but man, it must be taxing for the teams.. first of all this year Leclerc broke up with his misses to focus on 'Ferrari interests' and last week Bottas announced he was getting a divorce.. i mean that's just 2, but im sure relationship pressures are on all team members. You'd imagine the professional life span of a Formula 1 mechanic to perhaps be a bit shorter than other high-level sports people.

Haha and I was wondering what those strange ice-hockey matches were with Malaysia, Philippines etc.  Such matches were available for live-betting. I didnt know they played ice-hockey over there. Then again, I recently found out there even is a Greek ice-hockey national team, they are just not allowed to participate in official tournaments because there is no "approved" ice-hockey stadium in Greece.

I got eliminated on the bayern game as well, I felt like that could have been literally the easiest bet in the whole parlay yet it wasn't really my day, guess many people lost on that bayern game. Is it just me or has this season been super profitable for all sportsbooks? There is always these weird unexpected results all the time, like Liverpool and then many other premier league games and also champions league as well. It has been a very bad year for me but hopefully it will get better when we reach to end parts.

Many times its those people - such as the girl from your village - who achieve great things. Its funny because I actually know a girl from my home town who won Olympic gold medal in the 25m pistol and a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol in 2016. =) That sports literally does not exist in Greece, no professional training etc. - she trained each and every day on her own with her father.

@efialtis yeah that's what I love about sports. Many years ago we had one boxer rise out of total obscurity, no education and no formal training but he boxed his way to silver in Olympics, and his arms were way shorter than everyone else! And then a few years before that we had a sprinter break the Asian 100m record (short guy too!). All these unknowns... genetic abberations. We're a very short people, severe disadvantage in terms of physical capacity, so when we make it, it makes it all the more awesome.

I've watched a bit of women's football, you can see from my daily thread they've won me some upsets too haha. But judging from the NL/US game I saw recently, they have improved tremendously at the top of the ladder.

But the old weaknesses are still very much there. Technically, the players have improved (again, at the top). The dribbling is better, the control is closer, even the speed is improved. But it is at defence where the real weaknesses have not improved. Marking is poor quality. Keepers still are not even close to standards of amateur men's football that I've seen. You won't see acrobatic, athletic, octopus arm, cat-leaping, scorpion striking moves from a woman keeper. I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm saying I just haven't seen it even at the top of the game (referring again to US-Netherlands).

They'll probably get there, but volleyball players seem more athletic than football keepers atm.

Betting value is probably there. But entertainment wise...
