About corona, things are pretty bad in my small hometown. All my direct family members have been told to go on unpaid leave (no business and suppliers so their small enterprises have no income) and the banks have given a 3 month moratorium on loan repayments. So there's no one working or earning for the next month at least, SARS didn't get us this bad. But it'll all pass. And hey, family time, right?

This is very bad for the people. Those who have saving may be they can survive but those who does not have much saving they will have really hard time. Sorry to hear that brother. I hope the time flies very fast and we all are stay safe.

My parents thankfully are from the generation who saved up a lot and who worked low paying but pension-yielding jobs in the government. So they won't be super comfortable, but they'll have things to eat for as long as the government pays pension and inflation doesn't get so shitty.

I'm looking at Russian football and Turkish now btw. Not the most expert person in those areas but then again, my "expertise" in English football hasn't exactly made me a star either;)

There is really not much sportsbet can do right now, I am sure they wouldn't prefer this neither, who would want a global epidemic. However, asking for them to actually find something to play just for gambling sake doesn't make sense neither, they would love for you to gamble and potentially lose all your money to them as well, that is how they make their income and if you do not make any bets they are not making any profits neither. So, that means they ARE looking for ways for you to gamble anyway, but they can't just make teams play with force, they have to wait and let the leagues decide in the end.

Hopefully, this would be a month or tops 2 months thing and we will go back to our lives, not only gambling and sports but I am sick of staying inside all the time as well.

There are some football leagues that haven't been suspended: Turkish league, Russian League, argentinian league cup, Australian league...But, word of advice: if you're unfamiliar with these "exotic" leagues, stay away from 'em!!

I added some games from those leagues in a few accas this weekend and, it was a complete disaster, not a single win, not a single correct pick  ):  i was in uncharted waters so i kinda saw this coming (i'm used to the top 5 leagues), but ugh, i feel like i just gave away some mBtc. Lesson learned tho, no more dumb bets from me until the real stuff is back.

This is what I used to do long ago when I had no control on me. I used feel panic if I could not bet and used to pick anything and place bets. It does not work well to be honest. I hope you are not doing as I did.

The thing is, there has always been something horrible going around in all nations, not a global epidemic level of thing but there has always been something that affected the people of each nation, mostly different stuff and mainly political stuff or at least economical stuff. Well even the movie/tv show business is affected with many productions stopping.

So, basically everyone who avoided their real life problems and focused on games and tv are now without anything to watch so basically we are talking about much more people being bored and scared of whats going on.

The world has absolutely gone crazy in the last couple of days. I've been on a work trip and it has been cut short and time for me to head back home. Bit of a shame as I was going to surprise you with pictures from the IPL Opener in Mumbai... Mumbai vs Chennai in a corporate box!! anyhow, the game is going ahead, but in a empty Cricket stadium.

Can't believe the Australian F1 officials & Government canceled the F1 the day before it was meant to start.. the number of teams and machinery that was moved into Melbourne park was not cheap!
Anyhow, lets see how the F1 pans out.

Yeah thanks for the update, glad the IPL has been pushed back til mid april at this moment, maybe later who knows.

Hi Steve, the opening IPL match will always be an awesome one to watch in the stadium but the IPL has been postponed till 15th April as of now since India stopped issuing visas till that date and its still uncertain whether they could start after April 15th lets hope for the best as they couldn't postpone a lot as there are many other schedules for the international matches this year including the T20 world cup

@Pamoldar yeah just sitting tight now and settling in, both my home country and resident country now putting things on hold and asking people to stay home. My kids are all having a surprise holiday, so my hands are busy cooking and cleaning =D A normal holiday two of them at least are always out and about or we have other plans but this is a sit-home event all the way til 1st week April!

@LFC_Bitcoin thanks for checking in and yeah, I'm of course slightly disappointed we won't be knocking records off the table (seriously, we could have won this title even in late Feb or early March but God has pity for Manchesters and won't let us win till at least mid April.

Yes,,, I was thinking last week too this must be what esports is for, but when I tried watching, I got bored even quicker. Seriously,,, I do not mind playing those games every now and then but what is the fun in watching other people play tv games? I cannot understand it;)
