i was dealt AA first hand of the tourney, and i managed to get it all in against KK. what a cooler! sorry @Asad321! the flop was scary as hell---3 hearts, he had Kh and i had no heart---but my pocket rockets held. that got my heart pumping!

Congrats buddy. Take it down. I ran the opposite lol, managed to not go broke to quick but it was a non-stop downhill. Flopped straight against 2-pair they turn a boat. 2 pair bet flop,turn, they turn a flush draw and continue rivering a flush. Flush over flush K VS. J. Pushed for a nice bluff spot but alas they had turned a boat. Wasn't my day.

Still would like to see better bet control it takes entirely to long to manually bet if you don't want to tie into your time bank. A window so you don't have to have the sportsbet home page open in the background.

You know what's more painful than break-up? Losing with Flush against Full House. 

Anyhow, it was great tourney. There are huge number of prizes up to 18th position! I hope most of us win.

still doing okay, in 7th at the moment. got in KK vs AK and it held. 76 remain, top 18 pays. let's see.....

Still would like to see better bet control it takes entirely to long to manually bet if you don't want to tie into your time bank. A window so you don't have to have the sportsbet home page open in the background.

in the tournament lobby area, switch the button that says "multi-window table mode" on. it'll create a pop-up for each table.

the betting interface is pretty tilting for me, not super intuitive and indeed takes a long time to manually enter bets.

It's a very weird tournament for me - I am either getting premium hands (2x KK, 1x AA) or really nothing at all. When I try my luck with limping some suited connectors, there is lots of action behind me or I totally miss the flop But still alive....a chip and a chair.

Ended 54th in the tournament I wasn't expecting poker to be this fun I should've joined the previous weekly freerolls.  

Last time I checked poker on sportsbet I got a message saying it wasn't allowed for me then all of a sudden it got removed.

50 left, still holding on. A really fun tournament so far, I was so close to losing multiple times and ended up blowing chips like an amateur when I had some to spare.

I'm around 25th currently in chip size, close to the rewards. Some really good players in here tonight.

Well, I am out at #50. Had a chance to triple up, but my QT didn't hold up against T9 and 95 pre-flop all-in At least Steve went out with me too Thanks for this nice tournament, was fun to play even though the end was not nice, but thats mainly always the case in poker

Out as 40th, went all in AJ hearts against QQ. 2 hearts before the river, also J on the flop, no love on the river though.

I pushed my luck far too many times for my liking, it had to cost me eventually. Was really fun, hopefully we'll have these again.

thankfully JJ held for me vs KQ, and KK held vs A2 so i've got a decent stack to play with despite sportsbet's ridiculously fast blind structure.

mccormack is still in the game in 19th place, so the bounty is still active!

EDIT: and mccormack is out. he shoved QJ into AJ and lost. too bad---he was right to my left with less than half my stack.

1 more guy until we are getting something for the last 18 people. I never was on the same table with McCormack, he was quite good actually to survive this long

On another note, I am on a weird table right now. The BB was 3k chips and it was on a guy with only 4k+ chips. Another guy with over 120k folded the card and gave the other guy the chip . Happened twice right under my nose and transferred over 20k chips or so

Both are on 3k chips call and the blind was only raised 1k+. Normally someone with 120k chips would go for it instead of folding it down  

This really leaves a bad taste in my mouth now and I am still on the same table with them

popped out at 16th ..was intense when there was 19 left haha.. caught a major break when i went all in with pair of 8s against aces when there was around 30 ppl left... rivered a straight... ; D..
more or less during the later stages it all comes down to a timing of going all in.. since blinds are way too big if u are low stack..
went once all in against mccormack but lost Aj with KJ during the earlier stages of the tour when i had major chip advantage..after that hand it went downhill for me.. going from top 5 to bottom 5.. ..but lady luck smiled upon me i guess when i needed it the most...
wasnt expecting that i ll make it through .. but 8s are were lucky for me i guess..

i busted right after you. the guy who was to your left kept raising preflop 3 times in a row. finally i got dealt pocket 77 with 5.5bbs left and shoved into him. he shows up with AA.

i shouldn't complain. i got lucky on that A7 vs QQ hand---that kept me alive from the 1st to 3rd payout ladder. all in all, not a bad day. i busted out in my small buy-ins on SwC but this makes it worth it:



......but that 0.25 BTC for 1st place would have been a lot sweeter.

Folks in sportsbets are tough , some are weird 

SB has a very different crowd of players than most poker rooms. much more live/gambler types. i find it very difficult to isolate players preflop. also lots of huge preflop shoves. not my favorite type of field---very high variance.

I got 4 times pocket 77 tonight and I keep losing every single time with that. Lucky seven is not living up to its name huh I guess

I was aiming for that as well but it is hard especially with over 100+ player, the high blind just keep eating my stack away . I was lucky early on the game but nearing the end game, my cards keep dissapointing me lol

Yeah I found it hard because instead of slowly raising the blind , most player just shove your face with all in. Sometimes I couldnt even figure if it was a good card or a bluff

Meh I lost my last one to a bluff, managed to call that out but he was lucky with the flush.


Anyway thanks Sportsbets for organizing this, I got 0.018 BTC tonight . It was 0.02 but the buy in was 0.002 so yeah 0.018 for me + Watford away shirt

The tournament was really fun for me. This is the first time that I played poker for almost an hour. I usually all-in on the first few minutes and lost it all. But this time, it's different because of the prize pool. The problem is that I really don't have any experience with this kind of tournament and that's the reason why I only placed 82nd after playing some slow hands.

Getting kicked out in the first few rounds feels way better than playing for 2,5 hours and losing a tight all-in call, ending up with nothing. This way at least you watched a movie
I really had fun yesterday, playing for such a big prize pool gets your heart pumping.

BTW, we were at the same table at the beginning, I think the first play was a KK all-in against an AA all-in. I got transferred after that hand.

I lasted more than 1 hour(my 1st goal was achieved), but have nothing better to brag of.

I lost 20% of my chips in the very beginning of the game(my set of 3s vs villain's rivered straight), and was thrown to the 97th place:



"If only he rivered an Ace, I'd win good!"- those were my thoughts.

But then, an hour later, my opponent did river an Ace ... only that time it killed me:



Finished in 79th place. As I said, nothing to brag of.

I saw it, I was at the same table with you, mate! Since it was in the very first minute of the tournament, I think you appeared on the 1st place immediately. Was rooting for you since then.
