It was not the same, this is not a freeroll. It was What Bitcoin Did tournament with 1 BTC prizepool, 18 places paid and 2mbtc buy in. There was 104 participants last night

The good part is , even if you dont get to top18, you will still be able to get Watford's shirts . 2 mbtc is around $18~ right now for Watford's Shirt, not a bad deal huh

Don’t despair.That is the beauty of multi magic.You have to suffer by missing it for one or two games several times before you eventually win.I didn’t take part this week as I was busy playing slots and totally forgot but maybe I give a try in this upcoming multimagic.

Me? Despair? Never =D I had been going on a poor streak even before lockdown already (still very much in profit overall in the season) so I won't be hurting for a long time.

Anyway, I'm passing the special today (over 5.5 goals across both matches), not sure Granada can score, or if anyone apart from Sevilla really can!

Im not sure when the next one will be coming up. This is my first time joining this but according to the others, last one was in April but I couldnt find any reference post to the previous one. You can probably try to search through sportsbet's post history

This is the second 'What Bitcoin Did' tournament, previous one was in April and had over 500 participants again with 1BTC prize pool.

when I joined the freeroll I think it did break to 90 participants.

The weekly freerolls are such a mess with alot of people throwing all their chips with one another right from the start of the game

I'll be rooting for another tourney, I think it's a best experience.

No reason to not join the next one, its 1 btc prizepool

The sports are finally back in many places, I have finally had the chance to gamble on Turkish super league as well unfortunately it wasn't really a nice week to play on it since the teams that are usually the great teams ended up losing their games. Fenerbahce did win their game which was the rare occasion for this week, but Besiktas and Galatasaray both lost their games this week which I did not really see coming.

Specially Galatasaray because they were fighting for championship before going on the break and now they came back and they both lost their game but also lost Fernando Muslera who is a world class goalkeeper and also lost their striker as well. I think we can easily say that with this one game they have said goodbye to their championship possibilities.

Yesterday sadly i have a terrible bad luck in the tournament.
I really like if where more tournament like these.
And for finish i repeat why dont put other tournaments in the scheudle ? Like 5mbtc price whit 0.2 buy in like we have in the past because the freeroll are really unplayable a lot of noobs and multiacounts(the other day i see goodyboy777 and good777boy, come on man) playing. And the other tournaments nobody plays the 20 mbtc and 50 mbtc tournaments we have in these days. What do you think steve?.

The problem is, that these tournaments are not profitable for Sportsbet, there was a huge overlay. So don't expect these tournaments too often

Lots of poker rooms struggle with getting players in general and Sportsbet is no exception. There are few players and the software needs some improvements to attract more players. I think the main focus for Sportsbet was on the Sportsbook in the past, but you can see they are slowly but surely putting more focus on poker too. But poker is a hard business nowadays and the boom is over. We witnessed some mini-boom again in the last months for obvious reasons and Sportsbet is trying to ride the wave, which is very nice for us Poker-interested gamblers. But the software needs to bet more convenient and a bit more fancy imo and unless that happens, I don't think it's worth to put up loads of tournaments. And even then, you have this Goliath of a poker room called PokerStars and everyone else is only David.

I played in the poker tournament but was having problems with my router so I folded most my hands 
Filled out the form for the t-shirt, but didnt get any confirmation to my email.  Did anyone get an confirmation email?  Maybe they didnt send them out.

Yeah as the only thing makes people around here to get attracted to play poker is where there is a tourney that worth their time and the buy-in quite low with huge prize then it's guaranteed the room will exploded, even more if there's a weekly or daily freeroll which it's pretty working well to keep the room filled all the time.

Idk. It's kind investing if they do this as time goes by the fiat poker players might make switch come to crypto .. I've seen this.

the software (coinpoker) is a big issue for me tbh. whoever designed it was not an online poker player. while i am extremely grateful for SB's gifts to the poker community, i do think there is a big list of software problems deterring consistent traffic.

the betting interface is clunky and manually betting takes forever. a few times, i manually typed in bet amounts but when i clicked to raise it only minbet. it may have been technically my fault but the interface is just not intuitive at all. table breaks are glitchy too. sometimes when i get re-seated it sits me out and there is no way to sit back in unless i close and reopen SB completely.

then there is the sounds/alerts. for some reason they felt it was important to yell "fold" at you when you fold, but there is no alert sound (or option to pop-up table) when the action is on you. what a strange design. the crazy fast blind structures aren't my cup of tea either. it's all shove-shove-shove so quickly.

finally, you can't retrieve hand histories---this is a very basic fault that will deter any semi-serious poker player. the best you can do is see the previous hand, and only while you are seated at that table. if you get knocked out, your access is gone.

anyway, i'm not trying to hate, but if SB is serious about pushing into the poker world, they need to consider dropping coinpoker or otherwise pushing them into a serious platform overhaul. it's too bad there is such a lack of network/skin operations in bitcoin poker.

i'll definitely be playing in any big overlay tourneys like yesterday but the software tilts me so much that i take my normal action elsewhere. that's the sad truth.

A different thing I noticed is that when two players go all-in their cards show but they are faded out for some reason, what's up with that?

i would absolutely love to see that. i don't think SB can realistically get all the software changes they need from coinpoker. they should really start fresh with a better designed platform. i think SwC is a shining example of what they should be aiming for---intuitive and UI comparable to the major poker sites.

i also think the poker room's position on SB's main page is problematic for traffic. your account has to be on BTC currency to even see it, and when you do see it, it looks almost like just another table game or something. it's just not very visible.

yeah it's part of the same function that makes it so you can't access the prior hand replay once knocked out. when observing tables, you can't see handles or hand replay.

Have to agree with this on the Bubble - Final Table. Most users had less than 15 big blinds, the blinds rose faster than expected there. Made most of the spots here either push or fold.

All your points are valid and I hope Sportsbet will do something about it. As you said I am also very grateful for great rewards we are getting on the tournaments but softer needs a lot of work to get to industry standard.

This one point about guy yelling raise or fold is bugging me immensely. I have to mute Sportsbet tab just to be able to play. I know when i raise or fold, really don't know how somebody thought that is a feature. Again as you said this shows that the person who made the software doesen't play online poker.

And how did you find that trick? Sounds useful but that should be an option somewhere and not a lucky find.
