It is an important match for both. If Arsenal can not win this match, their hope to win Premier League will be over soon. In this week, Manchester City will very probably use their alternative squad to play as they will have a semi final with Real Madrid in mid of the next week. I really think Pep Guardiola will reserve some important players on bench for Champions League. This approach will bring risk to lose points and Arsenal can put their hope in this week day.

With Newcastle United, they are still in a race with some clubs for top four, Manchester United and Liverpool. They will not want to lose to Arsenal and fall down in last 4 matches of this season and lose their slot in top four. They are very close to be eligible for Champions League 2023 - 2024 with a few more matches to achieve it.

I mean at the end of the day the difference between the opponents will be the decision maker. Sure City will not use their starting eleven, I mean they may do that too but they shouldn't but the team they are facing is Leeds, the team fighting against relegation, so it should not be hard to beat them, they could use some bench players and rest some of the stars and still should be able to beat them, it shouldn't be that hard.

On the other hand, Arsenal will be facing Newcastle United, which is a top team since the takeover, and they have done alright this season, I am guessing that they are going to be a much tougher team, yeah Arsenal has nothing else to play for so they will use their main team, but will also be playing against Newcastle so it will be naturally a difficult game to win.

Side note, does anyone else feel that there's a ridiculous number of games most clubs are playing this week? Most clubs are doing 2 or even 3 games in a particular week, and I'm certainly seeing the toll that's taking in terms of trips to the treatment table.

Premier League clubs have a lot of games played in short period of time every year around Boxing day, so it's nothing new for them.
For other leagues this could be an issue but they messed up schedule a lot in previous seasons for different reasons, not just for world cup.

They pretty much sum up every which way I'd take an Arsenal win (which is my main prediction). ML alone is value, 3/1 with a boost so I'd stick with that, really.

But the specials also look good, BTTS and 10 corners seems the safest, but I'll sit on my Gunners win.

Leeds United works as much as possible to be able to carve a goal and have a significant goal difference with Manchaster City, ending 2-1 is a proud result, even though Leeds has suffered defeat.

I was sure that Arsenal will have no troubles today against Newcastle and more than this , the entire team of Arsenal looks more than ready to literally give everything they have left in them to win next games and eventually the title.

This is a difficult match and a big match, it is difficult to choose a bet between the two of course they both want to win, moreover Arsenal need a victory to return to the top of the table, but playing at home to Newcastle is certainly not an easy thing for Arsenal because Arsenal's road to the Premier League title League is still steep. although previously they have succeeded in overthrowing Chelsea and tomorrow they have to deal with Newcastle United.

And you're right...  I made a small bet but I didn't watch the match.  If I did I'd surely be yelling at my TV everytime Newcastle is at the attacking third.  Lolol.

And about United, they also dropped points this weekend.  :/  I think I start betting against them whenever the other club has the genius Moyes is at the helm.  He's not gotten over his sacking and has a serious vendetta of some sort.

Liverpool from hopeless to hopefully status within a few weeks. It is not coincidence but mainly comes from their own serious efforts and they are actually strong mentally to continue their hope, fighting and don't give up when the season is lively going. In late of season, many players returned from injuries and Liverpool have a strong squad recent weeks.

Fans of Manchester United will not like your predictions but Liverpool fans will become your fans. I agree with your prediction that Manchester United are facing with big pressure from Liverpool and from themselves to lose that fourth position.

Today is a big day down at the bottom though, Leicester not doing themselves any favours currently losing 5-2 to Fulham. Brighton vs Everton next followed by Notts Forest vs S’ton. If our boys S’ton are to survive they need to start winning right now.

Liverpool have always been consistent in every match they have faced, just look at the statistics that the last 5 matches they have always won without losing even though, it can be seen that they are starting to be consistent and serious about chasing the top 4, even though they are not focused, but hope that Newcastle and Manchester United fail to lose points in the remaining games of the season for Liverpool to get into the top 4.

Liverpool's point gap with Newcastle and Manchester United is so small that if both of them fail once again in this week's match, of course it will be detrimental to themselves and will benefit Liverpool to enter the top 4 and fight for a UCL ticket next season.
