Hi, first post  Grin

Are the mtgox trading limits only for withdrawals? I plan to buy more than the withdrawal limit and drip feed them in to a secure wallet - so I need to make sure that if I put a load of money in to mtgox I can trade it for bitcoins straight away and wont have it hanging around.

yes it is only for withdrawals. It is to protect themselves and I think some money laundering protection..
