Makes sense as we're getting closer to Halving.On the logical grounds,there won't be any Pump or Dump.Such factors don't affect the price of bitcoin IMHO.

I'm not seeing any relevant as we speak about the price as we all knew in the cryptoworld we are not affected of this particular news if media reveal the real identity of satoshi. We are here for business no pump and dump will happen.

Craig Wright just wants to make himself look more important than he in reality is. In fact, he is a nobody. It's quite pathetic that what seems to be a well educated person, has to do such low level sh!t to gain attention. I think he intended to make people dump the price down to very low levels but it didn't work out for him.

Its easyer to believe that craig is satoshi other then he wants fake attention imo..
If he is not satoshi there is a big move in the making. It could make or break btc.

Any kind of media stunt/buzz/coverage from this point on can act as a possible accelerant to the anticipation leading up to the halving. This latest Satoshi thing, however, doesn't seem to have had much of a significant impact on price from what I can tell.

We will need to wait and see. I will put my bet on dump, but after that rising again even more. But its just my prediction, its going up for too long, now will go a bit down and again up. But dont believe my words.

I do not see it as a boost to bitcoin but maybe a ploy to discredit it some how. Media has latched on to this story for what reason?
You think they really care who this guy is or not,I do not think so! More is in play then what we can see at the moment.
The threads on this topic point to it being a boost but I think it will be short lived.

We needed another thread on this, lol.  Don't know what it has to do with the halving and it looks like the price has dropped some ($446.1 at preev as I write this).  If it's a stunt then it's not doing a hell of a lot.  **Yawn**

Seems like more like an atempt to lower price a bit for me, as not many people are happy with satoshis' identity. However it did not have much impact it seems.

I doubt it was an attempt at lowering the price and more likely Craig trying to make money off of people trying to get an interview with him or other things that would benefit his financial situation.

I also don't think its people not liking his identity, but rather knowing when they see a con artist. There seems to be very, very few people that actually believe his supposed identity.
