For me its more profitable if you do trading bitcoin / dollar, because bitcoin price is more stable, alt coin trading is more risky, sometimes it can up very fast and sometimes the price can drop really fast and when it goes down its hard to rebounce back

So i suggest to trade bitcoin / dollar

But bitcoin/dollar trading requires heavy investment and one has to wait longer to make profit.Altcoin trading on the other hand can be done with less amount

i think it depends on the person and which one you prefer, it might be easier to predict bitcoin/USD movements sometimes while it is hard to predict altcoins.

but also altcoin prices can go up from 10% to 1000% which you cannot find in any other market this often.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

currently i did trade bitcoin with altcoins and my local currency and i don't have any plan to trade bitcoin with dollar because the fee will be expensive if i convert into my local currency but even though you would Trade Bitcoin With Altcoin or Dollar there is no guarantee you will get very much profit from it because trading also have high risk such as gambling

Bitcoin to dollar is more stable than bitcoin to altcoin. Dollar can't turn scam while altcoins can. On top of that, an altcoin values can rise or fall pretty quickly. So I prefer to trade from bitcoin to dollar.

Yup Dollar is really better I guess. Most of buyers and sellers are USD to BTC only in many sites, Some sites like Yobit are useful to sell bitcoins for all kind of coins and fiat as well. I personally suggest you start trading in Localbitcoins.com and Kraken are good in BTC trading normally.

i personally prefer trading altcoin/bitcoin pair always. because i have also tried trading bitcoin/fiat and didn't find it that much profitable for myself, although i still do it sometimes when the price is volatile but trading altcoins has more benefits in it.

usually more profit potential = more risk
nothing ever comes free in this world.

if you're trading bitcoin with altcoin, it means that your profit/loss is counted in the cryptocurrency, so you still have a cryptocurrency exposure vs. dollar.
you might be up money in crypto, but still down in dollar terms (or the other way around, for that matter).

... On top of that, an altcoin values can rise or fall pretty quickly.
Isn't it what makes it more lucrative? You can make double your coins in few days

I also think that bitcoin/dollar is profitable only in long term and that too when you invest heavily

the bid-offer spreads in the bitcoin/altcoin markets might be slightly wider (depending on the exchange), so the effective cost of making a trade on these markets in higher.

as long as it is justified in a higher profit potential, it should be fine, just something to be aware of.

Dollar is a stable currency so there will be no lost at your side but if you trade it with altcoin be sure you trade it with a very strong altcoin, altcoin price could drop significantly at any given time so better to always careful trading on altcoin..

Bitcoin with dollar can have a good profit if you have a trading partner overseas in a region that has their monetary value of their currency dropping.  It can earn much if their currency is unstable formulating a trade strategy to ensure the profit. This includes short time hoarding because of the unstable fluctuation of their currency.

On trading you won't know what is the best altcoin on the time but you don't need to now the best coin just find the active coin on trading and do a short trade method that is profitable and fast you can double your bitcoin in just an hour or more and ofcourse presence of mind so you know when to stop when you think it start going down then find another coin that method i use to earn bitcoin and now i make my starting bitcoin 10 time or more now

Trading bitcoin with altcoin is also much profitable, but initially doing with dollar is better. One need to make trade with the respective altcoin which is in rise, only then profit is ours. It takes time to learn those, so at first do with dollar.

If someone wants to "learn trading" than Bitcoin follows the known chart patterns. Most of all times. Sometimes, not.

Altcoins are more like gambling, based on hope, the luck of the moment and perhaps momentum.
