Anyways, I think it would be cool if Casascius collectors started paying more attention to funding date. There's a little awareness of it (specifically with the very first funding in Sept 2011 if memory serves), but given the range of funding certain issues exhibit, especially when coins can be dated differently than their actual funding date, it adds a whole new dimension to Casascius issues. Interestingly, I believe Mike cared about this, as he funded quite a few coins within an hour of midnight on Dec 31st 2013, roughly a month after shutting down. Furthermore, there *are* some 2014-funded coins; but scant few. Here's one:
