This story is not true. Political party's do not get paid according to polls. They would get this after the elections if the polls are right.

Stick to the other pools for the moment.  We've got some work to do on the pool still to get all the algos working.

We kept the original pool alive on port 80 to give our members an opportunity to close down their accounts. We will shutdown it definitely on June 1st.
Of course if any member then still has funds in their account we will help them out, but please switch to the new pool asap!

We have been testing with the GPU friendly ALGO's and they still seem to have some irregularities, we therefor advise to only use http://aurpool.com:8080 for Scrypt and SHA256.

It's rejecting the scrypt blocks as well.  SHA256 is the only confirmed working algo right now on the :8080 pool.

Ah, okay. Got an 404 error earlier this day when trying to access http://aurpool.com:8080/, whilst just plain http://aurpool.com/ seemed to work, hence I quoted that one.

If some of the algo's are showing irregularities, perhaps update the initial post temporary with the advice as LTEX stated; I think it's not a good commercial if miners were to direct their hardware, and would found out AUR showing irregular behavior to the algo's they were aiming at...

Hi guys,

To make mining a bit easier I put together preconfigured miners for the GPU/CPU friendly algorithms.

It's easy.

1. You need an AUR wallet address.

2. Download the right package for you system and unzip it. Take a look it's self explanatory.

3. Go the the conf folder per algorithm there a .conf file open it and replace the existing wallet address with your own.
Safe the file and run the according .bat file.

That's all folks.

The packages for AMD I could not test as I have no AMD Graphics card. So if anyone could give it a try and give me some feedback it would be great.

Edit: the packages are only intended for Windows.

For the people renting hardware to mine aurora coin use the high difficulty ports for best results

For scrypt this is: stratum+tcp://strataspool.com:3033

For sha256 it is: stratum+tcp://strataspool.com:3043

And you can delete the api bind rule as at this point it's not really necessary.

Hey guys. I thought I would give you a status update. We have been a bit quiet here lately but that is not because we are idle but because we are just extremely busy.

We had a introduction meeting the other day which was successful. We have had some new registrations to the foundation as a result and two major companies in Iceland have contacted us as a follow up where they are interested in doing some sort of Auroracoin implementation. We will be meeting with them and some other companies that we are going to contact in the next couple of weeks to get some decent Auroracoin use cases out there. We have been meeting and chatting with a lot of people, both Icelandic and foreign that have super interest in Auroracoin and the success of the project.

We have been in contact with some people that want to help us make a book about Auroracoin so that we can tell the story from the launch of Auroracoin, airdrop, price fall, takeover and all the way to date. That will be great to get out and we are very confident in the people that want to do this with us as they are professionals in this field.

We have a new simple merchant tool coming out in the next couple of days I expect and a proper merchant platform to follow in a few weeks.

There are many other things going on but I'm not in a position to disclose them atm. as they are either in beginning stages and I wouldn't want to raise false hopes for something that might not come true or because the other party we are dealing with does not want to disclose things at this point so we have to respect that.

ISX has been running smoothly with minimal problems. Of course there have been some minor issues but they are as said minor and are nothing that affect the trading. The volume of course is low at the moment but that is just as was expected. The main thing is that now we have a platform that can give us a solid price in ISK and that is what we needed to start building on top of. Now when merchants can liquidate their Auroracoins to ISK they will be more willing to start to accept Auroracoin. When enough of them do there will be less and less incentive for them to change their Auroracoins to ISK as they will be able to do business between themselves in AUR which is cheaper than to convert to ISK first.

Well I can continue here for a while but I think this is good for now. If you have any questions please post and we'll do our best to answer.

Hey restless. I'm not completely sure on the matter myself but I think that there isn't a clear way to get this. I think that some show estimates based on the network difficulty like the p2pools. You can see here for example http://crypto.office-on-the.net:12347/static/ .Shows the network hashrate but I think it's just estimated (without knowing for a fact).

Thank you for this package, this was much needed. When we switched to multi-algo I was one of those that wanted to hook my old gaming pc up for mining and I have been trying to find the mining software that work for my pc in one bundle.
