It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Auroracoin offers a variety of distributed blockchain services for both business and personal use. So we can buy this more to change personal development.

Good coin with long history. Chart on pair with BTC very flattened. ATH 0.0009BTC, so 10$ is possible soon. Cheesy

We had a new wallet to be released, but due to personal situations it will be postponed until end of May at least.
Things seem to be going along in Iceland. Maybe someone from there can give some more details.

surely Bittrex will prevent whoever has those 300 K AUR from cashing out?

I mean if it's the Cryptsy Wallet, this becomes a criminal case, no?

They should suspend that account.

I would not worry about those coins. I think the Cryptsy wallet was already dumped out 2 years ago, I caught most of those coins then.

Cryptopia shows the wallet in maint and won't allow me to pull a deposit addr.  Is this related to the new wallet coming in late May?  Mining seems to be working and the block explorer shows recent blocks.

Probably not, maybe contact to ask them what's going on. Their wallet should just work.

and okay, the news you guys have been patient for...

we just met and founded the Icelandic Blockchain Foundation, ibf.is, which is the auroracoin founation, aurarad.is, reformed.

now for the first time the icelandic business community is coming together under one umbrella.

we also have some funds, like other coins, for funding.

(these million auroracoins came from baldur friggjar oðinsson.  look it up. )

so we are coming together as a community and redefining and rebranding kryptos in Iceland.

i, for one, have taken a head start.
