Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

In the last versions blockchain wallet changed his policy and removed some useful features imo. One of these is the ability to sign a message. So, you can sign a message only if you import an address. Till now using this wallet there is no other way. You can verify a message something not very useful since there are many sites to do this.

Thank you!
Yes, I saw.
There is a line of "signature" - what to write? Where to get the signature for the message?
Thanks for the support!

If you're signing a message, leave it empty.  If you're verifying a message enter the signature there, it looks like a long string of random characters (example: IFtLgDZCpvfw0DT70RCLcYXj3Dbjf68sc6pj/C+u5K6IC8PIhHE4Y/ldllt1/yhrZpVW/shFRf7rxQYdsW/CcBM=).

Trusted an exchange that climbed to the top 3 in just under 2 years with your money? you are fucking stupid.

Did you read the main post seriously ? Wasn't that enough ?
According to their official post : https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/210353833-What-is-message-signing-and-how-can-I-do-that- it's possible for only imported addresses. However,I'm still able to sign messages from the original address on blockchain.info.Follow the same steps mentioned in the link above.

Thanks for the prompt reply, so I will need to import an address from a separate wallet then?

No,you don't have to,the last I checked.Like I said,I was able to sign a message without importing an address.
Here's how you do it :
1-Go to Settings
2-Click Addresses
3-On the right hand side of the address you wish to sign a message from has "More Options ->Click ->Sign Message"
4-I checked it just now and it's working.

Are you using blockchain.info? As I do not get those options after I click on manage, all I get is change the address or delete the address

You will only be able to sign messages with imported addresses and with addresses created in old Blockchain.info wallet. If you created a new wallet/account in Blockchain.info, you *won't* be able to sign messages with the addresses created.

Okay thanks for clarifying.Yes I'm using an address made in the old blockchain.info wallet before they updated.Never knew newly created addresses don't have signing provision.

Blockchain.info now uses hierarchical deterministic(HD) wallets. Many HD wallets don't allow you to sign messages. You will have to use tools like https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 to first find private key of the address you want to sign message with and then import address to a wallet or use a tool.

This feature is only available to imported address/es. Now if you imported the address there and you still can't find the option called "sign mesage", make sure that it is not a "watch-address" because you still need its corresponding private key in order for you to use that feature.
