You know how they calculate their conversion rate if I was to get your euros sent to my usd account? I hate how they don't give you a choice to keep it in the euros though.  Undecided

It depends on payment method. it usually costs around 1% more, once you get usd. Btw most of the times it is transparent and you see immediately the sum you will get.

A person who i sent usd to their account said they took off $1 worth off a transaction of $6. Their's is a eur account. That doesn't seem like 1%.

No, mate. There is a minimum cost about any operation. Probably that 1$ is the minimum tax you have to pay, probably, up to $100. Always consider proportions, not just the absolute cost of very low amounts.

I see now.
Well that sucks! Angry
I might as well use paypal then. Atleast they don't charge anything if it is from friends and family and from a North American paypal account there is no extra fee or cost to me as a receiver. Grin

They ALWAYS charge something, Paypal or any other payment system, it's the way they earn to live.  Grin
You can only decide during the trade who will pay the fees... Wink

So if I send you bitcoins then you send the skrill in euro right?
Will you consider excluding the fee to send to a USD account when the transaction takes place?
