Found this website last night and didn't see it posted on the forums anywhere:
https://walletgenerator.net

I am in no way affiliated with this site, just thought it would be a useful tool for people to create paper wallets with.

Tips:

1. Open site in Incognito/Private window (no cache)
2. Turn on Airplane Mode/Turn off internet
3. Generate multiple paper wallets
4. Print out paper wallets
5. Close browser
6. Restart computer

As long as your have the paper wallets and private keys stored safely, this "Cold Storage" is much safer than online or your computer.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes you want to make sure the Paper Wallet Generator is open-source and uses Client-Side javascript to generate the keys. That is why you unplug your internet and clear your cache so the keys are never stored online.

That's not enough.  I've seen many scam open-source programs.  You need to be sure that the source has been carefully reviewed by qualified knowledgeable programmers.

For example, if the program uses an intentionally bad random number generator, then it can easily generate private keys that appear to be random, but that are actually VERY EASY for the scammer to generate on their own to steal your bitcoins whenever they want in the future.  It isn't even safe to send a small amount to the address first as a test, since a scammer could wait a year or two until enough people have been fooled into using the paper wallets and then steal everyone's bitcoins all at once.

See this thread for information about why you should not use this kind of site, nor paper wallets in general.

Yes there are precautions to take, and they may not be 100% the best method to storing your Bitcoins. But for Newbies this is the easiest method and much better than storing on an exchange or app.

That thread basically says that your computer can have Malware so your keys can be hacked. But not if the keys are printed out and your computer is offline. Also, if you have malware I'd say you're pretty much screwed no matter what you do. And chances are your security isn't the best anyway....  Cheesy

Why so many headaches when 0.021 BTC buys you a hardware wallet here, the HW.1 . Just install it in a Linux live distro first to set it up and then use it on your regular computer (preferably Linux as a Windows infected machine after being used thousand times it may have all your security card combinations). I think anyone , any user here which has been in this forum 5 months and more can afford to buy one and I encourage them to do so.

Yeah, never use an online paper wallet generator. This is a sure fire way to get your BTC stolen. You should generate addresses offline and print them yourself.

The ledger HW.1. does look pretty nifty as well and it is pretty cheap. Eventually I'm going to get around to getting a hardware wallet.

then there is no point in using that is not 100% and as you said it, this site is never seen around here which means the chances of it being reviewed and bug-free is low.
in that case it is a lot safer for a newbie (which most probably don't have much) to create a web wallet with 2FA or a desktop wallet with a good password encryption than using an not-well-known service.

besides why do anyone want "multiple" paper wallets? just go on a live offline linux and install literary any of the known bitcoin clients that let you export private key (core, armory, electrum,...) and print the private keys on a paper!
