Hi

I can confirm for me that Ping Pong is broken on Bittrex (possibly all Exchanges.)

Placed an order buy / sell, it hit the buy, bought the coins then stopped, if i wasnt watching it so closely i would have missed it.

Regards

Confirm, Mac Os X High Sierra, latest version; Ping-pong does not work (just works for the first order and stops), BB does not work (sells low, buys high), only mArgin seems to work, but some times, suddenly stops to put next order, after previously executed action, have to restart order manually (All on Bittrex)

Poloniex is not working for me. I also know what the problem is:

INFO      @1514735556976 12/31 10:52:36 am [poloniex] : [Method:returnBalances (params: ) ] error in DefaultMarketInterface::httpPOST: network error: [code: 299]: UnknownContent (an unknown error related to the remote content was detected) (try 11 of 20), message received: {"error":"Nonce must be greater than 3612014235991821. You provided 1245768852."}

It's simple to fix: just offset the nonce to make sure that it's above the minimum required by the API (but make sure you don't overflow whatever type you store it in.)

No issues here. Just need it to be more aggressive in buying and selling. When i sell it goes up and when i buy it goes down.
Can't wait for the BB to be 100% operationel.

Did you restart the computer. Restart like shutting down and starting back up?
Maybe the reinstall of the Bot!

Did you install something else on the PC?

Hope you get it solved soon.

Run time errors have been a constant problem for a number of people since the beginning. Marginsoft are well aware of the issue.

With the latest two builds they are occurring more frequently then ever.

I put up with this because it was only happening every two or three days for me and the program was still in official Beta at a reduced price.

As this was a known issue it should have been fixed before marginsoft released the program from Beta.

Instead they have upped the price. Have two broken bots, however announced that they fixed one but havent and the already known runtime issue is worst then ever before on some  PC's. See above. I am not the only person who finds the current build worse with runtime errors.

Completely unethical to release a program from Beta and charge more without addressing preexisitng issues such as the runtime crashes. Obviously the program should still be in BETA until this is fixed.

EDIT adding my pc specs before somebody asks

Maybe it's not pc spec problem, maybe it's an OS? likely pirate/ illegal ones?
I have this bot on for 5 days on my daily driver laptop, and guess what? No issues.

I think it's unethical to attack creators when they were nice enough to release it before xmas,
then inform about changes couple weeks before the price went up
And about BB they said it's only BETA, so we could analyze, try it on demo or whatever and within next release witch is seems to be coming in couple of weeks, BB should be fixed + additional bot is coming

Last but not least, nearest competitor asking more then twice as Leonardo soft does.

Anyways, my suggestion would be to test your bot on other pc, server etc.
Most likely it's a problem is on your side I believe.

The support I had from them via email was amazing, getting all my reply's in 10- 30 minutes

Less mad, more concentrate and Happy new year all!

I have seen that the problem of crashes is frequent in installations on windows. The same thing happened to me, but I was fortunate that version 3.7.3 runs on raspberry and since I had one, I installed it on it and it has worked well, running for days without hanging up.
If you have the raspberry option, I would recommend it, especially because it can be up and running all the time.

Happy New Year to all of you!!

So what your saying is that I have to install Linux for this to work.

I stand by my comments. This is an ongoing issue that Marginsoft are well aware of. It affects some more then others and it varies by build. To remove the program from Beta status before this was addressed if not unethical was extremely unprofessional.

Much the same as saying that the Ping Pong bot has been fixed when it hasnt.

As I said before I accpeted this for a program that was in BETA as the program is no longer in BETA I expect better

The product is completely unusable in its current state.

Im not the one who released a broken product before Christams. How is that nice?

And then you attack me by implying that my OS is pirated.

Why was the program removed from BETA and price increased when the runtime issues that have been a constant and ongoing issue for months have not been properly addressed.

I really like Leonardo and believe that the product has great potenital. However it is way to buggy for a full release at this stage.

I would appreciate a response from Jonathon on this one please

Hey,

first of all no one of us attacked you in any way claiming that your OS/software is pirated.
Then we are very sorry that you are facing this issue. We are looking into this. Have you mailed it to support@marginsoftware.de with logs an screenshots?

The price of the software is a real bargain at the moment because we are still in beta and we are trying everything to fix all the bugs asap.
But also keep in mind that it is between christmas and new years eve and we are working with a skeleton staff.

A happy new year to everyone!

Runtime errors are not a new issue to this program. Claiming the holiday period and limited staff does not excuse the months taken to resolve the issue.

Also when you say that you have fixed the ping pong bot it should actually be fixed.

Sorry it was not Marginsoft who claimed my OS was pirated but another poster.

Set compatibility to Windows 7, set CPU Affinity, update .NET Framework and it stopped crashing for me.  Just use a tiny bit of effort and figure it out, and stop bawling on the forums please.  Thanks.

If this is required, surely the devs should state this.

My comments are completely factual and relate to an ongoing issue that has not been resolved for moths. I believe that they are completely warranted for the forum and should be considered by others before purchasing the program.

As i have said before I like the product and believe that it has potential. However it is currently unusable with two broken bots and simply won't run due to the run time errors. I did not release the product. The onus is not on me to fiddle with my system to make it work unless the devs offer clear instructions informing me that it is necessary to do so.

The onus is on the  developer to release a product that works or to provide instructions on how to make it work. Not you

I dont think it is required.  Two of my computers work perfect, and 1 of them (the one with an Nvidia card)  requires this.  I dont know if the video card makes a difference, but that is just the case.

Maybe in the future when new stuff are implemented to call it 3.7.4 (Beta) so the people can download it at own risk and test it and report issues they find and when they are solved it can called Stable version 3.7.4.

Building a bot for the Macintosh is much easier then building it for a windows system. Thats why crashes occur with windows and so good as non with Macintosh. There are as much different systems as there are windows installed . . . almost (a lot). So many hardware combinations with Windows installed.
Always keep all software up-to-date and hold on for the next release.

What i do not like is that the Bot (and yes i like "The Bot") could have hold the BTG before selling, because the MACD was not yet declining. I could have earned much more.

Bought at 235 and sold at 238 and could have done it in 245 or to be save at 244https://i.gyazo.com/f7ace72d67c380606550e0134da29fa4.png

Any chance MACD will be implemented in the future or something like that.
