@Jon,
Can you let us know if support for Bittrex API WEBSOCKETS support will arrive soon and/or when Leonardo is going to support Binance Exchange (websockets version)?
Bittrex API is pretty bad and I am seeing some lost trade opportunities because of it and I am thinking of switching to another exchange and Binance seems to be the more popular one for the moment.
As a side note I know that for most folks this doesnt matter but I compared bittrex api (non websockets) to Bitfinex (websockets) with the same one pair (LTC/BTC) for 30 minutes and with Bittrex Leonardo downloaded/uploaded 15Megs of data while Bitfinex only used 3megs for 30minutes.
Its no wonder Bittrex API is so slow and crappy. The bandwidth that it has to support must be humongous and thats why it gives out so many errors.

Bittrex does not have an official websocket API. Binance support is in development and will probably release in one of the next releases. All the best, Rene |

new user here wanted to share my expiernce with the program i bought yesterday after looking at demo i read instruction on how you need to enable api and also make sure the api key used has never been used for another programs that was not a issue because i have never used api prior to yesterday so i opened my bittrexx account and created a api copy and pasted it into the system and then waited for the reply from sarah hours later sarah responds and i re download program enter my information and i came up with an error message.... so now i have repeated process three times three new api keys and no luck same shitty error keeps popping up john said im the only person ahving this problem anyone else have any idea why my bittrexx api does not want to play nice with leonardo? i did everything right i copy pasted there are no blank spaces entered i did not use api on two programs i am not on incorrect ip for my bittrexx account so i have come to conclusion that bittrexx has somehow stopped accepting this program to be in use or something of that sort because i do know people in the past that have used this program along with bittrexx i gotta a buddy who uses this daily and thats why i wanted to use it.... side note my buddy has bittrexx aswell and was telling me yesterday that the order books were not updating in his program i feel like something is changing with in the bittrex api protocol im not sure what but i think in near future this program may not be accessible with bitrexx i hope im inccorect and this starts working soon or else im gonna have to get a refund which is the last thing i want to do  |

Hey choochootrain,
in the bittrex api web sacreen, did you give the "bot" api's enough permission so it can trade? I'm pretty sure I ticked all but withdraw access when i first set it up. And yeh, bittrex was slow yesterday. it even had issues displaying my wallet funds.

It ran all night and did 5 buy/sells.....  Interesting thing is the pair RDD/BTC was good NO problems. But,ETH/BTC stopped with errors in activity window! When we are seeing issues and wish to report them on the forum, many request are to "send maintenance logs". These logs are found in hidden files on your computer. So why is there not a pulldown tab in Leonardo that is just for reading and sending maintenance logs. This would make it much easier for users to give you the error messages that you request.

Nice piece of software. congrats Marginsoftware people.
I feel a lack of a true log and balancing report.
The little message window in the upper right is not expandable and it reports very few information.
I am so used to metatrade's reports that I feel naked without it.
Maybe a simple daily report on trades made and balance changes should be a start.

For those who use bittrex, they are cracking down on bots and constantly changing their API call limits. See the message I received last week. My account is still locked after 8 days. They are not responding to messages. I have a substantial amount on this exchange. Your account has been flagged as using API-based trading with a low fill rate. This means that you have a high percentage of cancelled orders relative to other API-based traders (i.e., you generate a lot of orders that are never matched). As you know, we take very seriously the overall experience of our customers on our Exchange. As such, we have removed your current API keys and we are asking that you limit the number of API calls you make to 30 per minute. If you don’t adjust your trading strategy, we may ban your IP and close your account. If you would like to continue to use your current strategy with new API keys on your account, please know that we will require you to agree to pay for each cancelled order a rate of 0.00001 BTC, if you maintain a fill rate below 5% over a one-week period. Once you have adjusted your API trading algorithm please enter a support request at https://support.bittrex.com to have your account Enabled for trading. Wow, bad move from Bittrex! While new exchanges are popping up publicizing they are bot-friendly to attract new customers, and some old ones are investing in infrastructure to keep up with the high demand, Bittrex goes to the other direction... Most exchanges are having issues with customer support, and that I can understand, because it's not quick and easy to grow your workforce (specially when they have to deal with customer money). However, to grow your infrastructure is much easier: with the huge amount of new customers, they also get a LOT more money from the fees; put more servers, redesign your trading engine if needed, invest in network bandwidth! A redesign of their API, using websockets and more intelligent calls, would also reduce the overload (another user here in the forum noticed that Bittrex generates a lot more network traffic; that's bad for the infrastructure).
